Thanks for the,"heads up". The next 2 days are going to be busy for me as I set up my various airport files, records and reports!

As of 22 October, the following airports are not yet available for reporting and therefore excluded: Aberdeen, Belfast City (George Best), Belfast International, Bristol, Dundee, Glasgow, Liverpool, Oxford and Southampton. The next scheduled refresh of airport publications will be week commencing 1 November 2021.

Provisional report for October. As various airports have not yet supplied the CAA with data I will provide a fuller update once all figures are available - this may not be about another 3 weeks. Data is taken from the CAA website - tables 3, 9, 12.1, 12.2 & 13

It'll be interesting to see how their figures compare with mine - bearing in mind that not all UK airports are included in the initial CAA data release, and I don't have 2019 numbers.

The provisional figures for November still not been published on the CAA website. Can't we go back to the system they used a few years ago when they were published between the 12th and 15th of the following month.

The only advantage, from a personal point of view, is that I can finally start working on the last (release 3) set of figures for October. So much to do and so little time to do it:):):) - November will hopefully be published this week and "might" include ALL data??

Comments on other LBA threads re number of sustainable operators on the Belfast route, prompted me to check the CAA passenger figures for the last 3 months (Aug, Sep, Oct)

BHD British A/W 3991; 2905; 4740;
BFS easyJet 4996; 5716; 6020;

A total of 28368. I am not going to try and work load factors out ( I haven't got the patience of Scottie Dog) but I would have thought that there was enough traffic (at this time) to warrant a third airline (Flybe?) on the route.

So, easyJet are carrying more pax than BACF are to Belfast City. Just proves the point I made that Belfast international serves far more than Belfast, whilst easyJet themselves are a big attraction in themselves. Those figures are only likely to increase too in more normal times (if we ever see more normal times).

Would be interesting to compare our EZY stats to EMA as they have the same amount of rotations. I would rather have 2 operators on the route now until demand picks up, but can still definitely see 3 if required. I though Eastern was interested in a BHD service also?

The November passenger figures are now on their website with a slightly different layout - hope it includes everything for Scottie Dog. There were 113069 pax for the month, at this rate they will be lucky to achieve 750K for 2021. At least it was better than 2020.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
