I somehow doubt they would be but in general things are positive.Dublin is doing very well numbers wise, and Edinburgh 15% up, perhaps Loganair could be persuaded to change their mind.
There was less flights to Antalya this year. No Freebird. Are people falling out of love with Türkiye? Or is it simply that holidays there aren’t as cheap as they have been in decades gone by?
Mainly AYT (and certainly not confined to CWL by any means!) but it seems figures for Türkiye are down across the board…
There's always shenanigans at Schiphol sadly. It is frustrating that Cardiff is doing well on 2 daily and it makes me wonder what the numbers would be like at 3 daily. It's an average of 78 passengers per flight and that's not accounting for cancellations. If that average was maintained for a 3rd daily flight CWL would be looking at an extra 4800 passengers for the month of August with the route around the 14,000 passenger mark for August. I really do hope CWL can persuade KLM to resume the 3rd daily flight even if just for the summer.Good to see demand holding up for the Amsterdam flights. I expect a drop in September (from 2024) with all the shenanigans at Schipol. (Or was that earlier this month ...?)
