Amsterdam going three daily next summer as does faro. It seems lots of changes to timings in the schedule too
There’s also increases in Bfs, gla, edi , cdg and agp
Apart from Faro there is nothing to indicate that these increases are a response to Jet2 as none of the routes are currently planned to be operated by Jet 2 in summer 2021.Athens going 3 weekly . Malaga up to four daily
According to the seat selector and FR24 today's and tomorrow's Tenerife South departures use the A321. When I checked yesterday today's departure had 133 seats occupied and tomorrow's 144, so plenty of room left on the 235-seat A321.The a321 back on schedule for next summer
It seems like there will be some time changes to come.... On a Monday in August 2021 for example there are three departures to AGP, two depart at the same time, one with an EJU (easyJet Europe) flight number and the other an EZY flight number. The timings of the EJU flight suggest it will be a AGP based aircraft (their new summer base) operating AGP-BRS-AMS-BRS-AGP (the AMS leg being the new third daily departure from BRS which is also an EJU flight number). This probably means the AGP flight that is under the EZY flight number will be removed from the schedule or re-timed.Apart from Faro there is nothing to indicate that these increases are a response to Jet2 as none of the routes are currently planned to be operated by Jet 2 in summer 2021.
It also seems that some of the extra flights have been put in so that they can be taken out if the pandemic continues to dampen demand. These are examples of the sort of thing I mean.
In May the EDI route shows 6 return flights on some days of the week.
BRS-EDI on Fri departure times and current fares
0705 39.99
1200 138.99
1545 70.99 (EZY427)
1545 84.99 (EZY425)
1915 27.99
2045 24.99
EDI-BRS on Mon departure times and current fares
0850 32.99
1015 30.99 (EZY 426)
1015 133.99 (EZY424)
1730 38.99
1900 26.99
2115 26.99
Having two flights departing to a destination at the same time under different flight numbers is novel for easyJet at BRS but the fare differentials, especially the EDI-BRS example, show that easyJet is not expecting the more expensive departure to be booked until all the others are sold out.
BRS-AMS, now 3 x daily for most of the seven-day week has departures at 0700, 1535 and 1635 most days. The first and last departures are priced mainly between 22.99 and 36.99 but the 1545 departures has prices between 111.99 and 133.99. Again it looks as though it's there at the moment should demand prove very high on the route.
