Google report that EZY are concentrating their recovery in Gatwick.......

And Manchester it looks like as well. Both bases to get increase in based aircraft.

No need to panic. TLS and the others will be operated. There are some schedule changes that are in the process of being updated. Once they are updated they will be interesting.
I'm taking note of Red Flyer's comment above, particularly the part I've put into bold. Regular readers of the BRS forum will know of Red Flyer's track record when it comes to discussing BRS airline and route matters - someone to take heed of.

on the BRS departure board it has the EZY 6265 as cancelled to Funchal. The flight did operate and i recon went out empty. On the arrival board it shows as expected as due to land as it were a normal day. So i wonder if it went out empty and brought back travelers it took out last week. If this is what happened then i will say well done Easyjet for getting them home,as you hear so many horror stories with people not been able to get home the
normal way as the airlines have left them to it.
There is a few more flights cancelled on the boards as it would have expected today.

Altogether there should have been 35 departures today from BRS (all airlines).

So far there have been nine departure cancellations, viz:

easyJet: Geneva*, Funchal, Amsterdam, Faro, Berlin Brandenburg, Paris CDG*
Ryanair: Dublin*, Bergamo*, Kaunas*

The departures marked * have also had their inbound flights cancelled.

The KLM flight is a prime example passengers in and out empty.

There are currently 18x based easyJet aircraft at BRS which has been the case over the last few weeks (7x A319. 10x A320, 1x A321). 13x aircraft were operational in the past week.

13x "Active" - all have been operating commercial services over the past week
A319 (3) - G-EZAO/AU/AX
A320 (9)
- (3x CEO) G-EZTN/TY/WC
- (6x NEO) G-UZHE/HF/HL/HR/HS/LI
A321 (1) - G-UZMI

5x "Stored" - not being used for commercial service
A319 (4) - G-EZAN/AS/AY/DJ
A320 (1)
- (1x NEO) G-UZHC - arrived from LTN on 28th swapping with a BRS based A320.

Brindisi

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but Brindisi seems to have gone from the BRS booking engine as a direct flight. It's now shown through this winter, next summer and next winter in the Worldwide Flights section with connections needed at such airports as Basel and Geneva.

Brindisi only began in summer 2019. I think originally it was shown as operational in summer 2020 until the pandemic came along.

Has Brindisi been flown from BRS before Easyjet started it.
I think I'm safe in saying that it hadn't, whether as a scheduled route or regular charter service. There might well have been the odd ad hoc flight down the years though.

Looking at their booking engine for next summer easyJet only operates to Brindisi with direct flights from Gatwick, Basel, Milan Malpensa and Paris Orly.

Brindisi was dropped alongside Montpellier at the launch of summer 2021 sadly
France has been something of a merry-go-round when it comes to Gallic routes from BRS.

Montpellier was tried by Ryanair in BRS's worst year in modern times (2009) pre-pandemic along with two other French one-summer-wonder routes, Perpignan and Toulon, with Pau (2007-2009) and Dinard (2007-2008) not lasting much longer in Ryanair's BRS network. The unlikely Brest should have started in summer 2020 but Ryanair seems to have quietly forgotten about that one.

There is still a decent French network although some routes next summer currently remain uncertain. This is the list as things stand (I've not included easyJet and Ryanair ski season offerings to France):

easyJet

Biarritz - easyJet had tried Biarritz in 2008-2009, then waited until 2019 before bringing it back
Bordeaux
La Rochelle
Lyon - previously ski season but became almost year-round in 2019 but summer 2021 not yet bookable, although winter 21-22 is
Marseille
Nantes
Nice
Paris CDG
Paris Orly
Toulouse - summer 2021 not yet bookable, although winter 21-22 is

Ryanair

Bergerac - summer 2021 not yet bookable
Beziers
Limoges - summer 2021 not yet bookable

FR24 is incorrect by one aircraft.
It shows A320 G-EZTV in BRS however it's actually in LGW.
G-EZTV's most recent flight was on the 17th December and FR24 shows it operated from LGW-LGW and having diverted to BRS. It didn't divert and just did a circuit around LGW.

Has EasyJet removed SVQ from Bristol? My flight appears to be canceled (for late April) according to the app, although I haven’t had an email confirming it, and it doesn’t seem to be bookable for the rest of the year.

Have a look at posts #1875 to #1880 (beginning 17 December 20) in this thread. Note particularly the comment of Red Flyer in #1880. Red Flyer has a track record of being very well informed on BRS matters.

Very odd. As I say, I haven’t had an email saying the flight has been canceled but my app states the flight is ‘disrupted’ and I can apply for a refund.

Red Flyer posted, "No need to panic. TLS and the others will be operated. There are some schedule changes that are in the process of being updated. Once they are updated they will be interesting."

I have highlighted the part of Red Flyer's post that might be the reason why your flight has been 'disrupted' but not 'cancelled'.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
