Bristol: EasyJet Route News & Base Updates

Although a long way off next winter, there are several changes on some of the newer routes or routes that were continued through this winter according to the EZY app.

Almeria not on sale after 19th Sep
Antalya not on sale for next winter (was 2 weekly this winter)
Bilbao 1 weekly Nov & Dec
Lyon reduced to 1 weekly
Zurich not on sale after 18th Sep
Murcia RMU reduced to 1 weekly (from 2)
Athens remains at 2pw
Malta remains at 2pw (3pw in Dec)
Munich seems to finish on 23rd Oct with 3 flights on sale around Christmas

Also, some of the summer routes seem to be returning a week ahead of the clock change with Catania and Dalaman showing for tomorrow

The rest of the winter goes on sale on Tuesday. Could it be that they have been temporarily taken off sale while the schedule is re - jigged. All of those were on sale when I last checked yesterday with the exception of Almeria which had been ending at the end of sept for a while but is on sale summer 27 ( holidays )

Does anybody know when the 3rd A321 arrives?

Bizarrely looks like it drops from 19 to 17 based overnight as 2 A320s are positioning to LGW later and I’ve just counted 17 based deps tomorrow morning and 17 Sunday evening arrivals on FR24.

Bizarrely looks like it drops from 19 to 17 based overnight as 2 A320s are positioning to LGW later and I’ve just counted 17 based deps tomorrow morning and 17 Sunday evening arrivals on FR24.

The 20th based easyJet at BRS will also be the 3rd based A321 and looks to arrive at the beginning of August.
Not sure on other increases, but 17 departures showing for all Monday mornings in April.

Having made this for the BHX thread, here's a table showing all UK easyJet bases (as of summer 2026) and their available routes. I’ve highlighted routes from BRS in orange and those easyJet might start from BRS in the future in green, based on other bases already offering a route there.

Very interesting list - thank you Severn , Going forward Budapest has just been released for Southend so I say that is in the pipeline ( it was originally an easyJet route way back ) plus Ljubljana ( not flown since adria airway back in the Yugoslav days) and Djerba seem to be the ones to watch. No routes announced for the winter from bristol and im assuming a/c no 20 is staying ?

Hi @MJW1992 You can usually expect more frequency changes to trickle through. What easyJet released this week was just their initial baseline schedule alongside those 13 brand-new winter routes across the UK network.

At this stage in the booking cycle, they usually put the core schedule on sale first to capture early bookings, but they routinely go back and fine-tune frequencies closer to the time.

Keep an eye out for a few specific factors over the next few weeks:

• Aircraft Allocations: Once easyJet finalises their exact winter fleet deployment and night-stopping aircraft numbers at the BRS base, they will adjust frequencies on the high-volume business and city-break routes like Amsterdam, Paris, and Glasgow.
• Ski and Winter Sun Swaps: As we head deeper into autumn, you will usually see them shift capacity away from late-season Mediterranean routes to beef up frequencies on the heavy winter ski sectors like Geneva, Grenoble, and Lyon, as well as the Canaries.
• The New Additions: Because they are heavily focused on embedded growth this year, they will be monitoring initial sales data for the newer winter routes very closely.

The schedule we see right now is rarely the final one we actually fly come November, so definitely expect some frequency shifts and timing tweaks to appear in the system over the summer. That's the most likely outcome anyway.

Thank you for the extensive reply how many based aircraft do easyJet normally keep for winter at Bristol.

By new Winter Routes I assume you are referring to Cape Verde and Seville that launched this year and Munich and Verona Zurich and Vienna that launched last year. Would of been nice to see Vienna go full winter seasonal instead of just Christmas markets,

I did hear a rumour that Naples was perhaps going full year round not sure if that is still happening.

A large chunk of routes were suspended this year from early Jan to early Feb when the demand is weakest and is common place across other airlines. Pax numbers actually grew 3% in January year on year anyway.

Ok fair enough! The Isle of Man has always been summer seasonal. I believe Venice was 2 weekly last winter. You’d think Cape Verde would be attractive for winter sun.

It's still early days for flight releases as I mentioned earlier but reading across the forums here there does seem to be an underlying concern about a upcoming reduced program from EasyJet.

It's too early to be relying on the easyJet website schedules. Checking the GDS schedules I can see Cape Verde (Sal) up to 4x weekly throughout winter, ZRH 2x weekly, VCE 4x weekly and VRN 2x weekly. IOM doesn't seem to be showing so far however
