Am I right in that VRN & VIE are resumptions?New routes - Munich , Vienna .Verona and zurich
I think all 4 of them could be options for going all year round.Extra flights have been added in October this year - for example mxp goes daily and mad also goes daily.
I wonder if the four new routes are intended to be winter only or will they be added for the summer programme too
Anyone know why there seems to be a blackout in January for flights to Basel and Zurich on EasyJet? They stop in early Jan and restart in Feb?
Shame it’s 2 destinations already served from BRS. Istanbul doesn’t seem to be on sale beyond the end of March.2 new routes Thessaloniki and Reus
Well with the focus on the holiday arm of the business I expect that more routes will be replicated. I suppose there's still time for Istanbul to go onsale but we don’t know how Pegasus has effected it for them.Shame it’s 2 destinations already served from BRS. Is there a stand available for another aircraft?Istanbul still not on sale from Manchester either so who knows. Seems a bit late now to release. I also wonder whether some of the new routes launched this winter such as Munich would roll over into the summer as well. Also given four new flights per week is this a sign of maybe aircraft number 20 coming ? Cannot see any dropped route/ flight to be replaced by Thessaloniki or Reus so far
36 stands? 1 KLM, 5 Ryanair?, 5 TUI, 6 Jet2?, 19 Easyjet=36 aircraft? Unless BRS has added more stands? Is there a stand available for another aircraft?
There’s now 38 stands at BRS (39 if you count 7N which is a departure only stand). There’s also plenty of contingency stands scattered around (mostly off stand parking in the various cul-de-sacs).36 stands? 1 KLM, 5 Ryanair?, 5 TUI, 6 Jet2?, 19 Easyjet=36 aircraft? Unless BRS has added more stands?
The August figures for Istanbul were:Well with the focus on the holiday arm of the business I expect that more routes will be replicated. I suppose there's still time for Istanbul to go onsale but we don’t know how Pegasus has effected it for them.
I note that today, Turkish have increased their IST-BHX flights from 18x to 21x weekly in S26.The August figures for Istanbul were:
IST (EZY) 3,035 approx load 168 per flight (LF 90%)
SAW (Pegasus) 3,567 approx load per flight 137 (LF varied due to different aircraft size)
I wonder if the challenge for BRS is that Turkish may well look to increase at or launch to airports where there's competition from ME3 carriers. If we look at their rumoured supposed next destinations Newcastle and Glasgow they both have an ME3 carrier.if Turkish see any future from IST-BRS
