Well let's hope that by the end of the day the BHX departures board shows no BA cancellations! So far so good as BA7025 for Florence departed at 1939. Hoping the other three flights leave without any problems.

Cityflyer runs off a different system so they should have been ok. Any delays would be due to other issues.

Not sure if you were all aware, but all 4 flights were delayed last night.
The Florence if I recall only had a short delay, but the other 3 were delayed until after midnight.
Palma and Ibiza did get out by half twelve but the problem was the Malaga flight.
It was on final call and boarded by 1am but for some reason did not get away. The aircraft was still on stand 45 I think,at 6am.
During the course of the night it became clear that part of problem was the handling agent Swissport. It turns out they only had a skeleton staff on duty on one of the busiest nights of the season so far.I am told that it took roughly one and half hours just to unload the aircraft after it had arrived. Bearing in mind many flights can be in and out in that time, that is not a good advert for either Swissport or BHX.
I am not sure if the aircraft then developed a technical fault, but as I say it was still there at 6.
The terminal duty managers staff were kept busy last night and I have a feeling we have not heard the last of this incident.

According to FR24
STA ATA ATD
Palma 2215 2350 0057
Ibiza 2135 0022 0122
Malaga 2220 0037 0246
I am not aware of any reason to doubt these times so if your flights are arriving in the early hours 3 or 4 hours late
you cannot complain about ground handling delays.(especially at the moment if you are BA) These turnarounds look pretty good. Infact if these times are correct the airport and ground handling company deserve
praise.

58terminus,I am going by what I was told by a reliable source who was involved with the incident. Also by the fact there was a BA tailed ERJ on the gate of the main terminal(gate 45 I think)at 5am.
I have no reason to doubt any of what I was told to be untrue, but if it is then I apologise.
However I heard a number of calls were made overnight to Swissport staff to report to the Terminal duty managers staff.
That doesn't happen for no reason.

All four routes are now bookable for 2018, they return on 19th May.

A brief look suggests that the timings are similar to this year, it is very early though so things may well change.

Checking with the BA website booking engine, I can only find flights until 25 May 2018 which includes the BHX outbounds on 19 May but no availability for returns the following Saturday (26 May) as the the booking period ends the day before.

Is there another site that gives the programme for the entire summer?

I think that 25th May is as far as it goes at the moment but BHX and BRS are definitely bookable from the 19th.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
