And there you have it.A beautiful aircraft and a simple unfussy but elegant livery all in one.I rest my case.
Elegant and unfussy livery. As it should be.

I was showing my kids old Guinness Book of Records. Nice simple layouts. Loads of information on the weird and wonderful. Easy to follow and understand. Now garish over produced and virtually unreadable. All the weird and wonderfulness lost behind too many graphics trying to compete with facechattwitagram.

I am getting far to old and grouchy. Grumpy middle aged men. Bring back the luddites.

Just don`t like Eurowhite, Air France etc is so blah1! my favourite has got to be Thomas Cook
A330 on a nice sunny day looks wonderful.

I remember an air display at Gaydon when a lightning took of flew flat and level then shot into a vertical climb I remember thinking how fantastic nothing will top that, then along came a Vulcan (not Spock) to prove me wrong.

Did someone say 'Vulcan'?
I have a few photos that I took at Duxford a few years back, although I can't remember if I've posted them on F4A before.
A phenomenal aeroplane and one of the best displays I've ever seen. Not just the sight, but the sound as well.

Yes a superb aeroplane not only incredibly noisy but amazingly agile for its size I think that manouvrability was to do with the escape procedure after release of its nuclear payload before returning to the U.K.no doubt to find the country layed to waste!

Blues v Man Utd dog says no problem as Bristol City showed how to do it and wants to know is their manager any good rekons Hudersfied will be more of a challenge.

Potentially a great match to look forward to.

What's your sport Brum X if football doesn't score any goals for you? I follow football (round and oval ball varieties) and cricket.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
