According to airfleets.net G EUPV has been with BA it's entire life and is only 17.8 years old, seems young to be retired although I suppose it'll all be short rotations with multiple take offs and landings per day. Any idea what the 319's are going to be replaced with?
Still, could be a good buy for somebody?

19/20+ LHR based Airbus A319's are to be retired by November 2020. These short haul aircraft will be replaced by the brand new Airbus A320Neo's.

Might be worth watching out for the ex bmi aircraft as Airbus A320s G-MIDO & G-MIDS have moved from summer Gatwick ops back to Heathrow this week.

They will be replaced by A320s. BA is not buying any new A319s (or I suppose to be pedantic IAG is not buying any A319s for BA). Everything is being "upgauged". Longer term the remaining LHR A319s will be retired and/or sent to LGW. All the new A320 neos and A321 neos are going to LHR. Not sure on exact timelines.

Flew the shuttle to LHR last week on Tuesday and returned Saturday with onward connection to ATH.

Got to fly on the 767 probably for the last time with BA so that was nice, the LBA leg was probably 70% loaded going and then I think full on the return with the business divider several rows back - also good news!

Service was very good, LBA legs mostly on time with friendly fun - Mixed fleet Cabin Crew.

I see BA are increasing Inverness to 16 x weekly and basing an aircraft there. Must be more viable than Leeds.

LHR-INV has got a good timed scheduled too for next summer with a night stopper, So early morning southbound departure & late northbound return. We all know the LHR-LBA service has being crying out for that type of schedule since day one of British Airways return!

Still its good to see we keep the slot sitting LBA-LHR service for a bit longer, what with the summer 2019 schedule now on sale (10x weekly = 1x daily Tue,Wed,Sat,Sun & 2x daily Mon,Thu, Fri)

Here's the British Airways summer 2019 scheduled for the London Heathrow - Leeds/Bradford route that's recently published.

Sadly for us spotters the airlines Airbus A320's & Airbus A321's are a no show during summer season as all flights are showing being operated by the Airbus A319's as usual.

Inverness only have 2 trains a day to London, one of which is the sleeper to Euston, so there is no competition really. I think it's fair to say that even allowing for the usual check-in times etc, flying knocks the stuffing out of a 7hr 52 min run on an LNER HST!!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
