Are any services currently operating ASB-BHX-ASB?
Looking at FR24 states a Turkmenistan B757 is due at 12 noon and says 'Scheduled'.
Looking at ASB departures, the flight is listed as 'unknown'.
The BHX arrivals page no longer has Ashgabat in the drop down list
I haven't seen any BHX WAMOS fights on FR24 for a while.

Subbing in the Wamos for any length of time is not economically viable.

Once all of the formalities have been taken care of they should be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

According to the published schedule, Turkmenistan Airlines will restart flights from its hub in Ashgabat to Frankfurt, Germany and Birmingham, England on June 1st. A restart of London and Paris, two destinations which Turkmenistan served before the ban, has not yet been announced.

Turkmenistan Airlines flights to the EU and UK

Flights to the EU (Frankfurt and Paris CDG) and the UK (Birmingham and London LHR)

As per the latest news from Turkmenistan Airlines all flights to Frankfurt, Paris CDG, Birmingham and London LHR are suspended until
the 01st of July 2019. Please contact your own travel agent & issuing office for a refund.

All other flights operate as per the normal schedule.

It has been great that Turkmenistan have kept promotion of the route going. I agree: I believe we are the regional choice for the Indian sub continent'ish area and that's just fine as that is where the long haul growth will be.

An airline that has stuck with BHX and done well...... take note other airlines. It really annoys me with other one hit wonders who believe they cant do well.

Wasn't there an update scheduled for some time in August? I thought that they were meeting with Lufthansa for a progress meeting at the end of July.

Following Comments on the Flybe thread about Turkmenistan I've seen elsewhere (cant remember where) that they are planning to resume services at BHX late October so maybe a shaft of light given the current gloomy news.

Once all of the details have been sorted with the EASA there will need to be a lead in time before flights commence so I'd probably guess Nov at the earliest.

That's pure guesswork though and this is Turkmenistan so they'll probably just turn up one afternoon with a fully loaded 777

Apparently FRA returns from October 26th.

I read an article claiming that they may have lost their LHR slots for good. If so I wonder if there is scope for more to BHX once they're up and running again.
