Great to see that BHX has a fully operational A350 Airbridge.

Btw I am starting to like the A350, Was watching some plane videos on Youtube last night as you do trying to do something not Chrismas related  and was watching a video of plane spotting at Madrid Barajas MAD.

The Iberia A350 was quite simply :love:

According to airliner net. the A380 can take up to the following.

13 pallets or 38 LD3.

However because of the high passenger capacity the majority of this capacity is taken up by luggage requirements making the A380 a poor performer in freight terms.

Emirates Sky Cargo website has some information about their fleet and how much cargo they can carry:

A380: 8 tonnes of cargo in addition to full passenger load
B777-300ER: 21 tonnes of cargo in addition to full passenger load

"Thanks to all for the info. Puts a different slant on money making, or otherwise, routes and aircraft."
I was discussing the above because I don`t know if it is pax or cargo that is doing well and I am always interested in what goes in to BHX and LBA and LPL etc so perhaps you need to widen your perspective 58 terminus as the world isn`t just BHX
I often seen things going into BHX ie Air India

It does because Manchester are 3 daily B777 for next week

As Million has said in an later post you have to take his response in the context of the post he was specifically replying to. I must admit that I had to read it again to understand the reason for the Manchester reference, but it's a fair comment.

"Peace to all men"

Maybe you don't intend it Mullion but your interest in other airports to me at least come across as little more than commenting on how much better Manchester is doing..Fair play to them
You are right the world isnt BHX or indeed aviation which is why my limited interest is my local airport.

You can have your own opion but that is not the way it is as my other airports of interest are NQY and EXT neither of which are not going to blow the world apart but are very interesting also Manchester can only dream of the cargo charters BHX gets

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
