I've only just realised that there is no dedicated thread on the BRS forum for Enter Air. This airline has been around at BRS for quite a numbr of years especially in winter when it operates regular ski charters and Santa flights.

Some years an Enter Air aircraft seems to be at BRS for a good part of the winter, parked up when not needed for charters either from BRS or from other airports.

Today there seem to be two Enter Air B737-800s operating into BRS with a Verona operation for TUI under a TOM flight code and two Sofia flights for Balkan Holidays under ENT codes. Incidentally, this means there will be four Sofia flights again today because both easyJet and Ryanair are also operating the route.

Below copied from a post today in another BRS thread.

Enter Air have based an aircraft/crews at BRS for the last couple of winters. There were two aircraft parked up last night and both operated today (one for TUI).

That's strange no thread for Enter air. They have done a fair bit of work out of BRS and aircraft based as well. This is a big slip under the radar with them. Its strange that when a route is sort of looking for some one to operate it,Enter air never gets mentioned.

I think that their activity at BRS in the past has been included in other threads such as the winter charter thread. I was surprised that there was no dedicated thread. I checked right back through the list of BRS threads twice before starting one for Enter Air the other day.

As Severn pointed out, they are actually a based airline in winter even though the aircraft performs work from other UK airports as well as from BRS.

B738 SP-ENV has been "based" at Bristol for the last couple of weeks operating BRS-SOF-BRS-SOF-BRS on a Saturday and BRS-CMF-BHX-CMF-BRS on a Sunday.

I wonder how much work the Enter Air aircraft is found each week in winter. Weekends see the ski flights and I presume some other charter work at other times (sports matches for example), not necessarily from BRS. Today the 737-800 was parked on one of the new stands at the eastern end of the airfield near the old terminal building. It was also there last week in midweek when I went past. I presume that part of the airfield is its home this winter when not working.

I remember in previous winters seeing it parked up at the western end of the airfield in midweek.

BRS departure board today shows Enter Air ENT3077 departing for Enontekio at 0800.

Although this is common during the Christmas season I can't remember Enontekio being served at this time of year. I haven't noticed it in recent weeks on the departure board so presumably it's for half term.

Whilst on the subject of Enter Air I haven't seen one of their aircraft parked up this winter as happened in pre-pandemic winters. It usually had work to do at BRS at weekends and was also used on occasions from other airports in the week - mentioned in the previous three posts in this thread albeit two years ago.
