Own funds I think.

Just heard that Leeds City Council's new leader, James Lewis, takes over on 24th February. After decision day for the terminal. Let's hope he is behind LBA and has a word in the ear of the Labour members of the Plans Panel. Nothing he can do about the anti airport Lib Dem or Green members, so approval will depend on Labour ignoring their idiot MPs and Tories supporting it too.

Just googled ....He is/was in charge of air quality in Leeds so should support greener planes/terminal...but who knows...he wrote in August 2020 "Tackling the climate emergency and protecting the health of everyone in Leeds remain priorities for this council. Regardless of any future decision on the charging zone we will continue to deliver schemes that enable sustainable travel and the shift to zero emission vehicles."

Surely one of priorities must also be to protect jobs and the future prosperity of Leeds and with it West Yorkshire or is he another one content to let other areas race ahead whilst we just stagnate?

It is. He just said on Radio Leeds that getting the city moving again and protecting jobs plus generating investment and growth are a priority. He has previously said that striking a balance between growth, the economy and the environmental challenges is vital. Which, the LBA terminal does. He has lived in Leeds since childhood and is a big Leeds United supporter.

I'm assuming this refers to a decision rather than just continued consideration??

Yeap looking at that email it's regards the applications decision that's being considered.
February 11th is about the right date that we had heard, up until now we've not said anything publicly due to date being not confirmed.

I've attached PDF document I've also just received from Leeds City Council.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
