I've moved some recent posts to the Global Warming or Global Cooling? thread in the Current Affairs section as they are non-CWL specific and relate more to the general climate change debate.

Of course, if anyone wants to discuss anything re climate change that is specific to CWL then the CWL forum is the place to post it.

I've left a number of posts in this thread as, although they are mainly generalised posts on climate change, they do include CWL in them and how it might be affected.

It's always a tricky call to decide the most appropriate thread venue when discussions move from a specific airport or airline to a generalised discussion. We try to allow some latitude but there are times when a decision is made to move posts.

If anyone is aggrieved that their post has been moved on this occasion they are most welcome to speak to me via Conversations.

At Cardiff Airport, SafeZone completed a series of over 40 flight trials in three days to validate a critical component of future drone flying safety.

Interesting to see Jet2's, Piper Navajo G-IFIT at CWL today, is there something in the wind? also several other executive aircraft at CWL today.

Interesting! With the new Airbus A321neo order maybe they're possibly considering using CWL for training?
Would be nice to think they're considering CWL for future expansion as well.

Yes that would be great, also on the other channel some members discussing the possibility of WESTJET coming to CWL as they are considering more UK destinations.

If i remember correctly WestJet were on the WG long haul wish list for Toronto. Would be fantastic if CWL could attract a long haul route like that, would also be very surprising! I expect that MAN or BHX would be the next route they announce and of course we musn't forget BRS and NCL and BFS. No doubt there would be massive competition for such a route.

Flying to Belfast this morning with Eastern Airways. Very odd to see the airport so quiet and with the exception of WH Smith no outlets open. There are only 8 passengers here though!

The modal farm planning application has been rejected.
It's going to a judicial review so only time will tell what happens.
Also it doesn't stop the landlord applying for something else for the land and evicting the farmers.

THE jet2 corporate taxi G-IFIT, is becoming a frequent visitor to CWL, and overnighted again last night, it appears to be on route to Shannon, which is a repeat of the same occurrence as last week. Could there be something in the future for CWL from JET2?
