I looked yesterday and nothing yet.Has Ryanair not released it’s LBA schedule for next year yet? If not, it does make me wonder why, as it surely will impact sales- especially with the surge of bookings on the back of travel restriction changes. I would have thought they would be all over it......
Surely it's covered by Jet2? Maybe not enough demand for 2 airlines or Ryanair feels they can make more money with the aircraft flying elsewhere?Yeah the lack of ALC is bizarre and a major gap in their network from LBA. It really is an odd one, the route cannot perform that poorly- surely?
Maybe but we’ve had 3 airlines on the route in the past flying quite frequently there. If it was performing poorly then surely they would’ve cut back ages ago.Surely it's covered by Jet2? That was the past and the pandemic has reduced demand considerably.Maybe but we’ve had 3 airlines on the route in the past flying quite frequently there. If it was performing poorly then surely they would’ve cut back ages ago.
They fly there nearly everyday so it must be one of their better performing routes outta LBA in that sense.
Yes but it’s not stopped them at other UK airports regardless of demand. That was the past and the pandemic has reduced demand considerably.
Of course but they still operate at other UK airports with competition with Jet2, Easyjet, TUI and are still operating there. Leeds is a big catchment area and demand is definitely there for more than just one airline. And things are starting to pick up so demand will be back there at some point I’m sure. That was the past and the pandemic has reduced demand considerably.
Yet it looks like they've cut the route at Leeds. They must have a reason and in general lack of demand or lack of profitability tends to be high on the list of why airlines cut routes.Of course but they still operate at other UK airports with competition with Jet2, Easyjet, TUI and are still operating there.
