Yeah so what I meant is that we only do routes from Birmingham.
Bucharest
Gdnask
Warsaw
Cluj napoca
Budapest
Wroclaw
Craiova
Krakow

All them routes from 3 countries Poland ,Hungary and Romania,

Why can’t we expand more further Northern Europe like Germany and latvia
Or Estonia or Cyprus

Well this isn't correct, FYI Wizzair will only operate to 2 destinations from Cardiff during this current winter.

Those places seem more suited for the likes of Easyjet and Ryanair or Wizz UK which is different to Wizz Europe (or Hungary)

So we know that Qatar and emirates are usual suspects to the airport.Plus you’ve got tui who long haul aswell plus.
Long haul routes at the moment.
Delhi
Dubai
Amritsar
Espargos
Boa Vista
Cancun
Bridgetown
Melbourne Orlando
Islamabad
Punta cana
Montego Bay
Islamabad is no longer a destination from BHX

And it wasn't in the Initial Slot Coordination for S23, and if it was public knowledge then why didn't @SeanM1997 on twitter say which airline and/or route?

Because just like on here, people love the suspense. Think about it, there are a few people that know about it to be teasing on here and social media. And if non-aviation employees such as those on here and Twitter know about the slot request, then clearly it’s not as secretive as some think.

So where exactly is it public knowledge? As I say, its not in the initial coordination report, and Sean prides himself on only revealing information that is publicly available:

So where did you hear it/find it out from?

I’m just guessing here but since it’s not on sale, or been mentioned in any news articles that i can find, by process of elimination that means he has contact with someone at the airline who has approved his sharing the info?

As for my own thoughts on this one, I feel ambivalent. On the one hand, I’m pleased by the prospect of BHX getting a long haul service to a state-of-the-art airport, but on the other hand I find it extremely hard to be enthused by any associations the UK has with the Saudi regime….

I didn’t say it’s was public knowledge, I said it’s not as secretive as people suggest. And yes, there is a difference. Many people have access to the ACL slot updates, including other airlines. I can assure you this is no big secret, it’s just a matter of the information filtering down to forums like this.

And the tweet you quote about Sean was in relation to another tweeter claiming Sean was releasing information that could affect share prices, it was nothing to do with general air news

Wow my tongue in cheek comment to Ray opened a can of worms hope I didn`t upset anyone.
It does follow with the Saudia comment about a large increase in tourism for next year, strange old world isn`t it.
I have been watching the MAN pax loads and I can see it working at BHX.

There was speculation of Newcastle on the list after recent Saudi investment in area.
These extra U.K. flights are they aimed at people flying to Jeddah or onwards from/to India Pakistan etc ?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
