The Other day I was watching YouTube and I got a TUI advert that advertised it's destinations one of which was New York. Do TUI Serve New York From the UK I don't think they do. So who is there Partner assuming they are advertising you can book with them to New York
Go onto the TUI website and do a search for new york holidays, LGW united airlines, MAN iceland air is what I found

Do you mean the viewing area inside the terminal building (somewhere in the vicinity of the current security hall, if i recall correctly)? I went regularly (ish - maybe 5 times total).

I liked it in there, including with live radio from the control tower (which was almost directly above, no?)

More airports should have viewing galleries. Could charge a small fee (or require a donation) to keep it operating. Would certainly keep the kiddies entertained. Add a coffee shop, bar and some comfy seats, it'd make a fortune.

Is there anyone on the forum that used the spotting platform from 1995_2005 ?
I did. I particularly remember when any spare room had to be found for tens of aircraft flying in for the Euro championships in 1996-- many Dutch airlines. The short runway was used for parking.

Thanks, but I was just trying to wind rollo up.
Cheeky so and so, anyway I'm too long in the tooth for that, meanwhile the Blues are currently thrashing Norwich 0-0 and even better were off to Southampton tomorrow on a two week cruise to the Med to catch the last of the summer sun so there !😔

P.S. I see Walsall are winning 😃

PPS. Just to get some aviation content in the Eastern E170 is about due to take Brighton back to Gatwick although I think they should be made to walk.

Not wishing to intrude Darlo, but if you have to talk to someone, you can find no better than a priest or other ordained person, a Cleric if you like. I have no religion myself but keep a line open to a preiestly person when I am in difficult curcumstances.

As I’m really bored and I have no job Atm.I have a massive passion for planes in terms of aircraft ,potential new routes,Timetables and schedules.Even watching kevs streams.(Personally I am considering going self employed but what is the point of that when streamers get paid £20-30 a day possibly less and I also don’t have experience with camera work and live streams)So my plan was while out of work is to write next summers schedule for each airlines ,Routes and aircraft

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
