Tui Summer 25 went on sale at 7am UK time. Quick glance....and I mean a quick glance showed nothing new for BHX. Not unexpected as it's maybe too early for new routes 🤔
I'm sure it's just to get something out there for sale, like Jet2 already has.

looks like Maderia - Funchal has been dropped for summer 2025 😞

Are there any new routes ?

nope can't see any new routes, no Almeria either for 2024 and 2025

I have quickly compared 2025 to 2024, and basically the schedules are the same for both years, apart from Funchal has gone on Mondays AM & Fridays PM, and the Sunday Enfidha no longer operates on a W pattern to Belfast, so therefore 2025 has a spare Monday morning slot, a spare Friday afternoon slot, and a spare Sunday afternoon slot, so maybe a possibilty of a new destination or 2?

Split could fit for Mondays & Fridays, Preveza Sunday? - guess we will see!!

Looks like Jet 2 are going to pull further away from TUI then out of BHX.

TUI not the airline they were a few years ago got themselves in a rut.Not enough planes or pilots.

Started with them not taking G-TUIP despite it awaiting delivery in their colour scheme. Now they have two all economy Maleth A330s with no TV screens doing cruise flts to the Carribean for P&O..ouch..

just maybe TUI have realised that the demand for long haul holidays packages arnt as popular at they used to be. No point them take new or more long haul aircraft, if they are making no money on the flights/holidays and the flights are half full? Long haul holidays are really expensive now.

Remember Jet2 have no long haul, and its not affecting them? The days of lots of holiday flights to Orlando from all the regional UK airports have long gone, times have changed, TUI have to change with the times to survive.

In other words they have lost the plot but long haul seems to be between LGW and MAN with a sprinkling at BHX. Are the Maleth operating for TUI as they are not on TUI callsigns

They started as TUI flts as passengers had booked Premium economy on TUI 787s.

With Maleth not having premium economy. Premium passengers are getting part refunds.

Not a good look for P&O

The cruise route to Singapore started yesterday. I'd not checked next winter but the article below confirms it's return.

TUI’s inaugural flight from Birmingham Airport to Singapore Changi Airport departed on 13 December 2023. The TUI flight from Birmingham is also the only non-stop route from the UK city to Singapore. The weekly flights on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner will exclusively serve Marella Cruises customers heading out to Singapore to sail onboard Marella Discovery 2 for winter 2023-24.

This will be the first time that Marella Cruises has homeported out of Singapore, with the itineraries including an overnight stay in the city-state to give customers more time to explore and delve into modern metropolis and cultural haven during the day and night. The ship will call at various destinations, including Phu My in Vietnam; Malacca, Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia; and Laem Chabang in Thailand. The last flight of the season will depart Birmingham on 3 April 2024, with flights resuming for next winter on 11 December 2024.

Chris Hackney, Managing Director at Marella Cruises said: "The inaugural flight from Birmingham Airport to Singapore marks an exciting new chapter for our customers based in the Midlands, who now have more choice and flexibility when it comes to choosing their dream cruise. Our Asia itineraries mean that customers can be exploring tropical islands one day, and buzzing cities the next, and we’re excited to be offering all the region has to offer to those flying from Birmingham Airport.

Adam Parker, Senior Aviation Manager at Birmingham Airport said: "We are delighted that TUI has started flying from BHX to Singapore to cater for its Midland-based cruise customers. This investment represents TUI’s confidence in BHX and the Midlands region, and its commitment to providing more options for customers.

“TUI offers numerous sunshine destinations direct from Birmingham Airport. The addition of this direct long-haul service to Singapore to connect with Marella Cruises gives our customers even greater choice.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
