The plan is they’ll do it themselves, the Norse is running from HB international airlines, in partnership with Norse. It was understood to be running of PIA slots but That’s not the case, catering, ground service already applied for Birmingham, MAN and I believe Gatwick for PIA aircraft’s

Unless more aircraft are brought back into service, I expect UK flights will mainly be 772. So far the MAN schedule looks like 772 except for a weekly 773 to/from LHE.

772 likely, AP-BGK, AP-BHX, AP-BMH are in service alongside 2 77W's (-300ERs) which is AP-BMS & AP-BHV (773 is 777-300 Classic, PIA doesn't have any.)

We won't see any of the 77L's, considering AP-BGY is being worked nonstop on the YYZ routes. AP-BGZ well, inactive.

PIA is working on the 777-200LRs refurbishment program, with new seats, WiFi ( no ife ), usb charging. The others will return slowly, I’ve seen a lot of footage from PIAs hanger with BGZ getting maintenance. As for the others ( particularly BHV, BID & BGL ) it’s looking a bit rough, those are in poor condition. BGL is the most unlikeliest, as it was damaged by the military. The CEO has claimed the 777s will be getting to “international standards”, the first 2 being BID and the retro AP-BMG

current PIA 777 fleet status:-

B777-200ER

2 out of 6 aircraft in service (A6-BGK & A6-BHX)

B777-200LR

1 out of 2 aircraft in service (A6-BGY)

B777-300ER

1 out of 4 aircraft in service (A6-BHV)

so 4 out of 12 aircraft in service , according to a PIA forum it could now be October before any UK services might re-start - don't hold your breath!!! :ROFLMAO:

An update has come through, PIA is unable to operate this route due to a lack of equipment. PIA is in a rush to get their grounded fleet back in the air as fast as possible

...and that will be a lot easier said than done!

Imagine having one ban lifted, only to be banned again on safety grounds!

PIA has received Third Country Operator Certificate (UK Part TCO) for operating commercial flights to/from UK. They also have received UK ACC3 designation for flying cargo and/or mail into UK as per avpak3 on X as well as historyofpia forum.

According to their forum seems like October is when PIA plans to resume flights. First to Manchester, followed by LHR, then Birmingham. Though with limited amount of triple 7s in service… I wonder how the schedule will look like? 2x weekly?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
