What has Wizz got to do with EIUK at MAN ?

BHX has been rumoured on various sites but now they are reducing LGW who knows !
Been rumoured on various sites and platforms and most importantly ACL about more slots from wizz

Someone mentioned on here before the plan was to get more away based routes from all 3 Low cost carriers.

Well I have no idea which ACL Reports your referring to but the Initial Summer 2026 ACL Reports doesnt suggest that.

Wizz Weekly Slots Allocation for Summer 2026
  • BHX = 86x ATM Slots = 43x Weekly Departs
  • MAN = 0
In fact according to the Summer 2026 ACL Reports, not only were Wizz not awarded slots at MAN, Wizz have not even applied for slots at MAN.

Now the big caveat here is that a) the Summer 2026 ACL Report is merely a snap shot of time. Things can changes and other on this forum do have access the the live slot database which we don't, and b) slot request are no guarantee of route operations.

Apparently Poznan has multiple slots for bhx next summer

Interesting, i hadnt appreciated that was the POZ ACL report, APOLOGIES... but a few points to note:

- BHX is listed as a new destinations - it isn't, this route is operated by RYR
- BHX is listed on the POZ ACL report - But isnt on the BHX ACL report which you'd expect
- If this route is added, its unlikely to be Wiz - more likey RYR. - The POZ Report suggests 540 slots requested, but W6 only have 480 slots, W4 only have 240 slots AND W9 only have 420 slots

Realistically I can’t see no more LCC routes for the based carriers at bhx for next summer.I think we’re sorted. Be interesting what Wizz has planned next summer with its slots

The focus should really be on Eastern carriers. What will Qatar do.Probably keep it 1 daily but who knows.
should saudia maintain there Saturday in peak season
Will Spicejet and PIA make a return

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
