Anyone can fill an aircraft on pretty much any route, it's making a profit that counts. Hopefully they've got their yield management right.

That's not really my decision but being greedy I'll have AI on ATQ and DEL with Indigo on BOM

Believe Air India are set to go back to normality from bhx on 2nd September with 3 weekly flights to ATQ then 4 weekly from 14th October.

Delhi are also set to go back to 3 weekly flights from 20th October

Altogether we should be daily the commencing 20th October with B787-8s to Delhi and Amritsar

Apparently the Gatwick flights are now going to continue so I’m guessing they will be short of aircraft so maybe that’s why we are having cuts but as ever with Air India it could be anything

- Air India drops their 3x weekly LGW-GOI route

Then...
- Air India increase LGW-AMD to 6x weekly
- Air India increase LGW-ATQ to 5x weekly

Now...
- Air India reduce LGW-AMD to 3x weekly
- Air India reduce BHX-ATQ to 3x weekly
- Air India reduce LGW-ATQ to 3x weekly

Mainly a loss in demand and aircraft, with the loss of a 787, the scheduling becomes tighter, including 787s requiring maintenance etc. and then there comes the passengers that have stopped using air India due to the 171 flight

Air India will also maintain its B77W on both ATQ and DEL routes in Winter 2026 aswell however decreasing ATQ to 3 weekly.

This is not a decease.

BHX-ATQ has ben 3x weekly since June 2025.... And is actually an increase on Winter 2025 as these flights will be operated by larger 77W rather than the 788's operated last winter!
