I've only just noticed this, Boultbee Flight Academy 2 seater Spitfire might be returning to Leeds/Bradford Airport later this summer after visiting multiflight last year/ or was it in 2019?

Flights not bookable yet, but it would seem its going to be based here in September 2021 from Monday 6th till Friday 10th.

One change we were informed when talking to one of the staff last Friday is that each table will be allocated for a 2 hour slot before you have to leave.
That may cause some problems for the "all day" spotters

Bad move that as it is the 'all day' group in the corner that put a lot of money their way during the course of the week, not just Saturdays and Sundays. The sooner that social distancing and compulsory track-and-trace gets kicked into touch the better. Like LBA4EVER says, it is not as if there is much to see in any case.

Hopefully soon people at the multiflight cafe will get to see the yellow aircraft. (I mean Aurigny) because I believe they have plans to start flights from LBA soon.

A couple more things to mention if you intend visiting soon, the new car park barrier is now fully in operation and is currently only accepting credit card payment, and the price of coffees has gone up by 20p))

Bloody track and trace gets everywhere. Far too many people isolating unnecessarily. Just checked the TV channels for tonight. Film Channel – Pinging in The Rain. Comedy Channel – Not Pinging Out. Music Channels – Featured bands – The Ping Pings and The Pings of Leon. Featured Tracks – We’re Flying Without Pings and Pings of a Dove. Sports Channel – Ping Pong. Kids TV Channel – Peppa Ping and Pingu.

Same me, I was pinged this morning after a friend I was with yesterday at the international T/20 cricket game tested positive.

Now ive got 10 days sat at home doing bugger all

You can always Pingu on the telly. It must be on one of them with the rest of the rubbish.

Been to the multiflight cafe this morning. (First time) It’s a nice little cafe with some good views of the apron and the food quite good to 🙂

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
