I think Multiflight and BCFC got quite a lot in common just now, both being "hood"winked
BCFC may just be playing Billericay Town in a couple of seasons if things dont change quickly down at VP

Don't know where to post this, but it's South side aviation related. I've just seen posted elsewhere that PTT fleet has been impounded at Newcastle with there aircraft blocked in by snow ploughs.
Has the same happened here at Leeds/Bradford or up the road at Teeside?

Also all there websites and social media accounts have been deleted

This is my first post... I am doing my PPL with PTT at Leeds and my instructor told me Newcastle Airport were trying to get rid of general aviation at the airport so it may be linked to that...

Welcome to the form Will. When you say' get rid of general aviation', does that mean in general or just specific to PTT. Based on what lbaspotter says, this would seem to be specific to PTT. Has your instructor actually contacted you about the implications for your PPL training and if this will still continue?

Hi Will O'Neil welcome to the forum. I hope this doesn't have any negative impact on your flight training, but there is a lot of chatter on the LBA Facebook groups and other aviation related websites/forums

By all accounts the locks were changed at 6pm last night.

So exactly bits of the South Side premises will this affect? I believe that PTT have the offices next to the Multiflight cafe, or is that still Multiflight owned but was leased to PTT?

I'm sure the building which housed PTT offices next to the cafe was leased and still owned by Multiflight.

Makes me wonder if Multiflight will step in to replace PTT's operation at LBA? Otherwise I think it would be the first time we've not had a fixed wing flight training & testing company based on the airfield...

I'm sure Naljets is run by the same company that owned PPT Aviation?

Interestingly http://naljets.com/ website still seems to be up and running and I see their Gulfstream G200 (224), G-GZOO has had its UK registration cancelled and looks to be getting transferred onto the Isle of Man registrar as (M-GZOO). She's being sat in the Multiflight Hangar since the 13th of August.

As PPT appears to be a subsidiary company of Nailjet and a separate legal entity then its financial difficulties and debts will not impact on the parent company (unless of course Nailjet itself is also in difficulties).

Been to cafe this morning, everyone seems "shocked" about PTT.
All signage for PTT has been removed from the building and the blinds are all closed.

So what are the cafe jungle drums saying then? Have all the staff been unceremoniously turfed out and given the 'cheque's in the post' treatment or what?

It's being quoted elsewhere that the owner of PPT Aviation, Craig McLeod sat and watched the flying instructors fly a full day on Tuesday before laying them all off knowing they’d not get paid for this month.

It is also known that PTT Aviation returned a loss of around 1/2 million in the 2016/2017 financial year.

I see the has be a change of registered ownership of PTT's ex DA42 Twin Star, G-ZAZU yesterday, Wednesday September 12th 2018. Its now showing being owned by "NAL Asset Management Ltd"

What were the registrations of other aircraft PTT had based at LBA, MME & NCL?

There was '172 G-NALA, this has been sold in Poland.

Others:- G-PTTA/B/C/D/E. G-MFLM, G-KOVU, G-BSHP, G-BZLH, G-GHKX, G-DTFT

As for Naljets:-
G-GZOO Gulfstream G-200 has transferred to the Manx register as M-GZOO but still appears to be operated from LBA.
G-SCAR Challenger 600 reregistered N515VR for Carlton Place Leasing LLC
G-CGMF Citation Bravo, has just been cancelled from UK register as sold in India.
G-MOSJ King Air 90 is now registered to Newcastle Aviation trading as Naljets. Still operating from LBA.

I have just being informed that Multiflight has actually owned the Gulfstream 200, G-GZOO for past 3 years or so. Until PTT's demise in August it was being operated using Nal-Jets AOC.
Hence the aircraft has now been put onto the Isle of Man registry as M-GZOO and is owned by "Multiflight Charter Service LLP" and operated on its own AOC.

Took the Grandson to the Multiflight cafe the other day. Noticed that the hangar was now emblazoned with the name “Nultiflight”. Had they changed their name because of copyright infringement or employed a sign writer who hadn’t paid attention during spelling lessons at school we asked ourselves? No, after much head scratching it was because the hangar door was slightly open transforming the “m”
into a perfect “n”!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
