It looks like the children are discounted to roughly £5 one way.

I assume that FlyBe do not do a discount fare for Children.
I assumed (wrongly) that each passenger paid the same fare. Therefore it is possible.

Apologies.

The 2-15 age group fares with easyJet can vary enormously as a percentage of the adult fare as the above example shows - # 1,559.

Under 2s go free as long as they sit on an adult's lap but a nominal charge is still made. A couple I know recently flew Bristol to Edinburgh with their 21-month old son and were charged £25 for the infant, which I believe is the standard charge for that age group with easyJet. On occasions this can be less than the adult fare so in that situation parents might as well book a seat for their infant even if they don't use it. It would at least give them more room.

I've never travelled with Flybe with an under 16 so don't know if they discount for that age group.

Looking at the schedule it looks like Paris, Jersey and Cork swap over. Paris will be operated by the overnighting Southampton aircraft that will also do Dublin and Cork/Jersey will be operated by a Belfast aircraft except for Jersey on Sundays which will be operated by an Edinburgh based aircraft. On the other forum it's been suggested that Flybe could increase Dublin. If that does happen my guess would be on Saturdays and Sundays to rotate the SOU aircraft home, SOU was also suggested it could get an increase. We'll just have to see what happens.

Im in Edinburgh airport at the moment. The 07:00 departure I'm catching is coming up on the board as Paris CDG Via Cardiff?? Is that a regular thing now or is it a one off?
BE4501 is the only flight number displayed.

Only on a Saturday for Edinburgh. Rest of the week its Belfast that does it. In the summer Paris will be operated by the Dublin aircraft.

Am flying to Alicante via AMS on Monday with just a 45 minute KL connection I’m wondering if my bag will make it ?

Hmmm - it’s a legal KL connection but we’ll see - I’d did CWLSXM with a 60 minute connection not so long ago and the bag made it ! Sorry this is thread drift

Thanks Jerry, that's quite interesting, I suppose it makes sense to offer the option since they'll be flying in that pattern anyway. I've never seen a via CWL flight before so it was a bit confusing this morning when looking for my gate and I couldn't find CWL on the board

Was the flight busy at that time on a Saturday morning ?
There were a few spare seats here and there... I'd say about 60-65 ish pax. Interestingly only one man stayed on the plane for the second leg to CDG

I doubt it but they should deliver to your hotel next day.
Some bags don't make it but most do. If it wasn't going to make it then it wouldn't an advertised connection.
IF it doesnt, depending on the time of your flight itll be on the next flight. You may get it the same day.

I checked if they were going to do the same with Jersey and Cork in the summer but it appears not!

AMS certainly used to have a cavalier reputation when it came to handling bags. In the 1990s my wife and I regularly used AMS from the UK with KLM to fly on to North America. On three separate occasions our bags failed to appear at our final UK airport with us on return flights.

Each time they were eventually delivered to our home but in those days it was not an uncommon occurrence with Schipol. I don't know if that situation still obtains.

We were just grateful that they always found their way on the outbound flights as that would have been a more onerous circumstance for us.

Mine have always seemed to be delayed on the inbound flight from the USA with a tight 50 minute connection but not the outbound 90 minute connection to and from Portland but they always deliver it the next day to my house.

So apparently Flybe have a schedule update on 6th January. Hopefully that'll be positive for Cardiff and we'll see extra frequencies on routes like Belfast, Paris and Edinburgh.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
