Will there eventually be a new pier at that location?

I've always loved the T2 lineup shots and it would be a big shame to lose them.

If we go by the original plans I think two more piers were planned for that stretch.

Unfortunately there will be a Pier (officially Pier 3) coming out at right-angles approximately where the 2nd 747 is. Work on that should start around April 2020. Pier 2 will be where you can see the skeleton framework behind the 4th 747.

I did, the visitor park was really busy but it is a good spot especially as the aircraft taxi right past. I was also lucky in that i was able to get the Virgin Atlantic star wars livery as well!
