Is it just me who sees this as an avoidable own goal?
I acknowledge circa 75% of the flights and the ones offering interline connections are successfully located in T2.
BUT there is a massive self connection market too, and with MAN's mix of carriers this could be a very profitable source of additional revenue.
SELL a self connection product via dohop/waya or kiwi etc like some other airports do.
T3 has connection facilities, use them on a paid basis to cover the costs.
And it really wouldnt cost much to run an occasional on demand terminal to terminal transfer service airside.
The sheer network at MAN could make this work, I already know of people using Jet2, EasyJet, Ryanair etc to get to MAN and then connect elsewhere.
Why not monetize it, bundle in fast track for a smoother re-screening process.
Make it HBO if necessary but surely Cavu could come up with a profitable product to be sold and capitalise on this now enormous market.
Pax may not recognise the terminology but they will and do pay a supplement for a smoother / protected connection when buying separate tickets bundled together by OTA's
