I flew to Cologne / Bonn last week with German Wings, and was lucky enough to be there for the arrival of the Emirates A380 as my flight was delayed by 90 minutes.

I spent a couple of hours at Manchester this afternoon. I've taken a few pictures. I'm just uploading them to Photobucket as I write this so keep a check on this thread.

The hanger may well preserve the aircraft better but I much preferred it when you could walk around the aircraft in the sun with the light gleaming from the windows. It's not the same anymore. :nea:

Thanks for sharing that with us Galaxy, it really does show the diversity of the airlines at MAN. Note as well you can just see the tail of the Thomas Cook, now Air Transat G-TCXA Airbus A330 sat outside Thomas Cook's Engineering Hanger and Air Livery.
Doesn't look like the pigeon was as interested as you in the aircraft Galaxy....
