I wonder if it might have been slightly better to not do 3 AMS services but something along the lines of either
1. LPL-CDG-LPL-BRU-LPL-AMS-LPL
Gives links to 3 capitals with not so much pressure in keeping cheap seats available, and take further expansion slowly but surely with added frequencies to some/all of those destination but also look at a link to Dusseldorf/Munich, or
2
Do away with the flaw with the initial single daily service which is the the inability to do a same-day return by getting 2 aircraft in doing this kind of operation@
aircraft 1: LPL-CDG-LPL-BRU-LPL-AMS-LPL
aircraft 2: LPL-AMS-LPL-DUS or MUC-LPL-CDG-LPL
Not sure what would be a better German link for Liverpool.
Day returns into 2 important business and leisure destinations going directly into peak hubbing times for connections. Throw in a codeshare with Air France for CDG, Cathay Pacific for CDG and AMS, and Etihad for AMS. KLM codesharing would be outside the scope of the agreement KLM has with their unions.
