And whilst Belfast operates through Summer 2025 it seems Paris stops at the end of March. Yet to be loaded or axed?
Have easyJet Europe routes been released yet? My understanding is it's them that do Paris (not easyJet UK) so they may be released separately. Hard to see a route being axed that's only been on sale a couple of weeks unless it was always intended to be winter only.

You would assume that all routes are released on the same day as there was no caveat in Easyjets announcement. A random check shows Newcastle-Palma is on sale, unsure which Easyjet company operates that route. Hopefully you are right.

And a quick looks show Manchester Paris available to book next summer, and also showing 6 x weekly from Birmingham. Again we don't know which Eastjet company operates this route but it is looking ominous that this was a winter only route from LBA to use up spare aircraft capacity.

I'll be surprised if we get anymore from easyjet before the terminal is completed.

If we lose Paris that will effectively be a reduction.

In any case isnt the new building supposed to be operational by the start of next Summer season?

Im hoping they are still loading flights.

A snapshot look at the times for a week in July suggest that for Manchester and Birmingham the flights are operated on their based aircraft.
With Leeds it's still early days. The route has only just gone onsale and I expect they'll want to evaluate it before making a decision. Slots for CDG are going to be in demand.

So you mean see how it performs until part way through Winter and then decide whether to continue into Summer?

Winter isnt the best time to evaluate a flight to Paris, pavement cafe's and Disney dont have the same appeal when its cold and raining.

That's the only way they'll be able to evaluate it.

I may be wide of the mark but I’m interpreting the easyjet CDG route as a sweetener for something. I’m in no doubt at all that easyjet are a target airline for a base at LBA, but like Aviador says they might not be willing to go the whole hog until the terminal extension and redevelopment has been completed which I understand won’t be until 2026. By that time DSA may or may not be up and running again, which would give them another option and/or bargaining power when talking to LBA.

CDG 2 x weekly isn’t bad, but it’s hardly a statement of intent, particularly if it’s only going to run for a couple of months. That said, late summer was a rumour for an easyjet announcement.. Was CDG it?

You’ve only got to look at how easyJet have developed the operations at SEN before the base reopens next summer along with the current SOU & NCL operations which aren’t bases to see which way the LBA operation could go next.

I suspect the next LBA routes for easyJet will be AMS, PMI and ALC to further build the brand across Yorkshire region and that will be without having to open a base here until the terminal REGEN project is completed in 2026

Not on sale
NCL - AMS, CDG
SOU - AMS
LBA - CDG

On Sale
NCL - ALC, BFS, BRS, PMI
SOU - ALC, BFS, FAO, GLA, PMI
LBA - BFS

according to some people, you only need 1 day in each of the Yorkshire Dales, North Wales and Lake District "to have seen it all". Which is why its minibus tour number 3 this year of the Yorkshire Dales for me on 16th October. Different routes and different things to see each tour.
Apologies for any issues today, I was planning on updating the site but sadly something went wrong so the upgrade has been postponed. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your kind donation to our running costs Jenny.
I've done 2 minibus tours with Mountain Goat this week. Monday was North York Moors with over 600 photos and today High Adventure in the Lakes with 750. photos. Slightly snap happy.
I've asked Gareth Southgate for the winning lottery numbers. He said 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
