EasyJet’s Dec 25 to March 26 schedule is now on sale, it currently looks like a copy & paste job so far
So maybe we might see more added overtime. It’s definitely going to be one to watch!

Belfast int’l = 4x weekly (Mon, Thu-Fri & Sun)
Geneva = 1x weekly (Sun)
Malaga = Summer Seasonal
Paris Cdg = 2x weekly (Mon & Fri)
Palma de Mallorca = Summer Seasonal

How many GVA flights are there?

I don’t think it’s disappointing personally. A good sign GVA is back and on sale a lot earlier. Hopefully can be expanded. Looking at BOH/SOU airports they have a big GVA program, be good if we see some more.

BFS x4 weekly good start, hopefully up to 6 again or even daily for winter would be great.

CDG another good sign it has come back and on sale early for forward bookings.

Hopefully more to come

I see the tour operating arm Easyjet Holidays have both the new Leeds/Bradford routes to Palma, & Malaga on sale for summer 2026. So far it looks to be a repeat of this coming summer.

Palma = 2x weekly Wed & Sun (Apr to May) & 4x weekly Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun (Jun to Oct)
Malaga = 1x weekly Wed (Apr to May) & 2x weekly Wed & Sun (Jun to Oct)

Looks like DSA 2.0 are targeting an easyjet base ‘before they get too entrenched at other airports (LBA)’. I see that the flights are doing well out of LBA, hopefully Vince Hodder and team are working to ensure they continue to expand at LBA.

They can try but why would Easyjet go back to a newly opened previously failed airport that they themselves operated from in the past. And failed. It's not generally how Easyjet work. They slowly build a presence up before going all in with a base.

Frankly, going straight in to DSA with a base would be seriously reckless. LBA have been working towards an eventual base for the past couple of years, so why would Easyjet just abandon that and go all in at DSA?

Think DSA would try target any airline possible to try and get some sort of business, I suppose you could say MME would be trying to target a easy base. Airlines talk to airports all the time, 95% of the time doesn't come to much/anything. I suspect this is the case here also.

Plus airlines say one thing, then do another. It may come down to the subsidies that are on offer.

I completely agree but I would not be too sure in this case. There will be some support from wider businesses to see this reopen as it allows for harder bargaining power and let’s face it, Yorkshire has been woefully served by EasyJet since day one. I’m hoping LBA ramp up the extra stand capacity and are going after easyJet with both barrels now because it will be a very real threat.

LBA already appear to have accepted that DSA is reopening given some feedback I received about a meeting last week. Of course they’ll be planning for that eventuality but I would not be surprised in the slightest if easyjet are looking seriously at DSA as a blank canvas.

With a new SEN base opening, SOU/NCL/LBA sniffing about for easyJet base, I think DSA is in stiff competition.

Also makes you wonder how much money can Doncaster Council throw into subsidies with this project sky rocketing.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
