Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

If it was an airbridge then it will've either been Stand 7 or 8.
Stand 8 accomodates the larger aircraft, when they are 'picky' - meaning they try to get a 'larger' aircraft on this airbridge, such as your B757/767 etc and Stand 7 is known to house; KLM in the quieter times of the day and TCX's A320 as well as smaller aircraft.

Today (Sat) saw the first of the charter flights from LBA to Naples, operated by a British Airways E190 (I think). It positioned in this morning around 1000, I believe from Glasgow. Hopefully lbaspotter will be able to confirm and provide the aircraft details?

Huddersfield Town's chartered Eastern Airways flight was also due back into LBA this afternoon after their 1-1 play off draw at Bournemouth.

Hi

The British Airways Cityflyer, Embrear 190 was, G-LCYL while the Eastern Airways charter from Bournemouth was operated by BAe Jetstream 41, G-MAJJ.

Hope that helps

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Here's a couple off extra movements from today.

LS300T = Leeds to Leeds = Boeing 737-300, G-GDFA
LS031R = Belfast Int'l to Leeds = Boeing 737-300, G-CELV
LS031E = Lasham to Leeds = Boeing 737-300, G-CELH

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Well this is a turn out off the blue if it turns up....

Turkish Airline Onur Air will be visiting LBA in the evening of Thursday, May 19th if the airports website live arrivals and departures pages are upto date and correct. As our OHY7335/7336 flight is showing as operating as follows from/to Dalaman.

DLM-LBA = ETA 19:00 OHY7335
LBA-DLM = ETD 20:00 OHY7336

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

If that is meant to be one of the holidays4u flights it will be cancelled.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

This has happened before with flights that have been dropped - the airport having omitted to amend the schedules on the system. As Aviador says, it will almost certainly disappear before Thursday evening - pity though!

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Looks like everyone missed this nice visitor to LBA this morning

City Line Hungary, Antanov AN26, HA-TCN

She arrived LBA at 09:12 as CNB250F from Breman this morning. She was due back out at 10:00 as CNB2500 to Bergen...

Did anyone get to see it???

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Yes I saw it !! sorry I could not post it but had a busy day. Flybe used a Embraer 190 today around mid morning.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Do the mods want me to post what I see at lba when I am home ? not sure if this is a spotter forum or an enthusiasts.

Hi a300boy

Yes your very much welcome to post your LBA logs and sighting on this forum as I know they will be very useful to tie up aircraft movements for quite a few members on here Including myself.

Thank you...

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Lbaspotter has already answered your question but I would like to reiterate that we welcome any sort of involvement in the forum whatever your views are about airports and aviation so long as it forms part of a good sensible and friendly debate.

So on that note, I'm more than happy for you to post aircraft registrations within this thread.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Hi

Head up guys. Mint Airways, Boeing 757-200, EC-LHL is currently working inbound to Leeds on lease to Jet2 on this afternoon's LS186 from Malaga.

She should be here with-in the next 10 to 15 mins or so.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Ah so that's what just flew by! I caught a quick glimpse through the binocs, saw the green writing which was unfamiliar to me, couldn't get the multiflight webcam up and saw no mention on the LBA website arrivals page of any unusual airline. Cheers LBAS.

Added - Downloaded Quicktime 7 and now can view the webcam.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I believe that she is performing TCX flights up at Newcastle for this summer season, lucky they caught her 'off-duty' at NEW.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Does anyone know what aircraft it was that landed tonight around 1855, between a Jet2 737 (I believe from Pisa) and the PIA? It was a smallish regional type jet that looked a bit like an ATR42, but with jet engines rather than props. I only had a quick glimpse, but it looked to be a yellowy colour with no logos or titles. Nothing is showing on the arrivals board other than the Jet2 and PIA around that time, so it could have been a cargo flight. It is the type of thing you would see carrying horses, so could be connected with the Bramham Horse Trials?

Hi

It looks likes its a medical flight, As i have logged Welcome Air "Tyrol Air Ambulance” Fairchild Dornier Do-328JET OE-LRJ at about that time arriving as TWY261. Its currently parked on the Multiflight Apron.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Just for people's reference; It looks like this mornings Jet2.com aircraft G-LSAG, operating the PMI (LS257) route, has swapped with Manchester's based G-LSAI, which is operating the return leg to LBA - LS258.

In turn, obviously, G-LSAG is now operating the return Palma flight to Manchester as LS832.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Thanks tomleeds and thanks too LBASpotter - I knew you would be able to say what it was. Odd though that the airport show such as training flights and positioning flights on the arrivals board, but that one was not shown, despite the fact it was obviously carrying some passengers. Would this be because it was going to the South Side rather than the main terminal perhaps?

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Air ambulance flights always go to Multiflight as invariably they need a ground ambulance for onward transportation to a hospital. OH, and it was OE-LJR and not OE-LRJ as stated above. it went out at about 09:30ish yesterday.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
