I was up there yesterday, but it arrived just before me, so I couldn't get a picture when it landed, and then my camera batteries failed on the SLR, leaving me with just a compact digital to play with. I did get a photo, but although I haven't looked yet, I can't imagine it will be anything other than rubbish!! Disappointing really as it was a lovely aircraft.

Is it coming back next week? I was slightly puzzled as it came in from Lourdes, so presumably brought people back to LBA who had gone down there from somewhere else. So are those who went on their pilgrimage yesterday coming back to LBA, or are they going back to an alternative airport. Anyone know?

Incidentally, with the PIA on Wednesday, TOM 767 on Thursday, Titan 767 yesterday and PIA back today, that is 4 days running with a wide body flight into LBA. How long is it since that happened? Quite a few years I would think. Probably the last time was when Britannia based their 767-200 here for May and June, although then it was the same aircraft every day. Chances are that this time it will be 4 different aircraft.

Hi

The inbound pax yesterday from Lourdes were last week’s outbound pax from Doncaster-Sheffield which went out on a Titan Airways, Boeing 757-200. They were to be bused back to Donny

The outbound Leeds pax will return to LBA but not returning on the Titan Airways, Boeing 767-300, Instead they will be returning on 2 separate Air Mediterranee Airbus A321's as follows.

Thursday 7th = 14:10-16:10
Wednesday 13th = 17:10-18:10

Hope that clears up the situation.

Another Heads up for you.

Italian Airline, Mistral Air is due into LBA this Tuesday 05/07/11 from Rome. The flight is planned to be operated by one of there Boeing 737-300's

Times as follows
Arr 12:40 as 7M1833 - Dept 13:20

No, thats a good picture Masere, of the Titan's decent into LBA.

Another very good heads-up - Jet2's G-LSAM, according to FlightRadar is due into LBA on the delayed LS232, Barcelona arrival at around 22:15hrs. To my knowledge, G-LSAM is then due to depart for MAN as LS043E at 22:45hrs.

As always, I'm sure Lbaspotter will be able to add more detail.

It looks like Jet2 had some problems with a couple of the Leeds/Bradford based Boeing 737-300's this morning.

G-CELB went tech after arriving back from Ibiza last night. She was replaced by the MAN based B737-300, G-CELG which positioned in to Leeds as LS41A this morning. She is expected to night stop tonight and operate a LBA services tomorrow morning before returning to MAN as LS43A in the afternoon.

Boeing 757-200, G-LSAM operated the Delayed outbound LS231 from MAN with passengers been bused so that the aircraft could operate direct out to Barcelona after its normal Manchester duties today. The inbound LS232 service is expected to be working into LBA this evening before returning empty back to MAN as LS42A tonight.

The MAN base is been looked after by the leased A320.

Today's Charter Mistral Air flight into LBA from Rome (Flight MSA1833) due in at 12:40 is been operated by there Boeing 737-300, EI-DUS.

I was in Guiseley this afternoon and was watching the arrivals on Rwy14. I did see the Mistral Air aircraft, but initially thought it was an emergency landing as it looked as if it was 'coming-in' at a very high speed and the landing gear were not deployed until the very last minute, compared to the TCX and LS arrivals.

Was good to see a different aircraft for once though

Heads up

Today see’s the first of the returning passengers from Lourdes. Air Mediterranee have been chartered by Tagney Tours are be using Airbus A321, F-GYAR.

BE2590 ETA 15:10 – BIE2591 ETD 17:10

The remaining Passengers out in Lourdes will be returning to Leeds/Bradford next week on Wednesday, July 13th on yet another Air Mediterranee Airbus A321 aircraft..

Great shots there. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Just so you are aware if you add the letter 'R' to the IMG tags ( ie:- RIMG ) it will re-size your pictures to fit the forum.

I am looking at new ways of displaying photos on the site to improve viewing pleasure but it's a couple of months off yet.
