Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

The airport arrivals board (on line) was again showing an Onur Air flight in from Bodrum this evening. They did the same last week although then it was shown as operating via Edinburgh, but I am not sure if it ever operated, and if it did, why. It was not shown on Ceefax arrivals. I did think it could be a re-patriation flight for passengers who had booked with Holidays4U and although I asked the question on here, there were no takers.

Does anyone know if the flight shown tonight is operating or not, and if it is, whether it is actually an Onur Air aircraft or operated by Jet2 on their behalf. Or is it another huge mistake by the airport? I wouldn't have thought so as we were never scheduled to have any Onur Air flights on a Friday even before our flights were cancelled before the summer started.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I think it was just yet another error made by the Airport's 'Airport 2020' system which controls all the boards in the airport and the website.

It looks like Jet2 made a swap yesterday. LS257 LBA-PMI was operated by G-LSAE, which swapped with EMA's G-LSAJ downroute in PMI. G-LSAJ went on to operate the LS258 PMI-LBA route and G-LSAE went on to operate into EMA.

Expected Tuesday 16th

Mistral airways are due to operate there last charter from LBA to Rome this Tuesday. Flight ZM9833 will position in empty at 09:30 and then depart back out at 10:20 as ZM1834. This should be operate by one of Mistral Airways own Boeing 737 aircraft instead of the MD81 that's appeared on the last 2 visits.

Also worth pointing out that it's the big one a at York races this week. Yep you've guess it it's the Ebor meet. So we may get a few biz and freight movements....

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Heads up guys.

Looks like Jet2 most be struggling some where for aircraft as FlyLAL Charters, Estonia registered Boeing 737-300, ES-LBD is operating this afternoon's inbound LS196 service from Prague.

She is due to arrive into LBA for 17:20.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

It looks as thought Jet2 did an aircraft swap on the Prague service.

The leased B737-300, ES-LBD Has gone onto operate this evenings LS205/206 Amsterdam service. She is inbound LBA again as she's just passing over sunny Scunthorpe. It it will then position down to London Gatwick at 21:30 as LS43A.

LBA based B737-300, G-CELG has operated the outbound LS195 to Prague and will then operate the Prague to Edinburgh service before re-positioning back to LBA as LS44A at 00:10 according to the LBA live arrivals page.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

There is yet another Italian charter tomorrow morning, the flight 7M9833 arriving at 0930 from Naples and departing to Rome at 1020. Same airline again - does anyone know what this series of charter are, as they have been going on now for a good few weeks?

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Hi all

Its the first day of the races at York Ebor today and so far we have seen the following arrive.

OO-TAK BAe 146-300F, = TAY1476 from Shannon
G-NOAH A319CJ = CVR1 from Cork

The Ebor runs until Saturday this year so could be plenty more off this action over the next couple of days.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Does the CJ stand for cargo jet? Or is it just a private business aircraft?!

I think I'll be going to the Ebor on Friday, should be a good day! Won't be placing huge bets mind!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
