Maybe I missed a post but does anyone know why we had 2 Jet 2 flights from Paris this afternoon ? 128C and 131C both operated by B737-300s.

Looks like Chelsea FC are flying up to Leeds/Bradford on Wednesday morning for there League cup game against Leeds Utd as the airports live arrivals page has a bmi regional charter due in at 11:25 as BMR8042 from Farnborough.

Chelsea FC chartered a bmi regional Embrear 145, G-EMBJ which arrived at Leeds around 11:20 this morning as BMR8042 from Farnborough. The aircraft was parked over at Multiflight earlier this afternoon waiting ready to take them back to London Gatwick tonight after the League Cup game aginst Leeds Utd as BMR8043..

thanks lbaspotter ! I see they have the departure to Gatwick on the arrivals board by mistake. I missed it arriving this morning and the airport boards have been a bit of a mess today with incorrect flights and times. Jet 2 have moved a lot of aircraft around to other airports today.

Monarch Airlines are today using Airbus A320, G-OZBB on the MON7573/7572 Munich service while Easyjet.com sent in Airbus A319, G-EZDR on this mornings EZY388V/493J Geneva service.

Meanwhile Jet2 Boeing 737-300QC, G-CELY positioned into Leeds earlier this morning from Edinbugh as EXS033E and while Leeds based Boeing 737-300, G-GDFH has operated today's EXS6379/6380 Enontekio Lapland charter for Transun.

Perhaps that Huddersfield Town lot flying back from their match at Crystal Palace, which has just this second ended in a 1-1 draw. If the weather doesn't clear they will be heading to MAN instead though.

Re: Weather & Technical Diversions, Delays & Cancellations

Royal Air Force, C130J Hercules ZH883 has been reported elsewhere that it arrived into Leeds in early hours of the morning on Monday (24/12/12) as RRR5999 from Hannover. After a very short stay she departed back out to RAF Brize Norton...

Re: Weather & Technical Diversions, Delays & Cancellations

Thomson Airways are currently using Boeing 757-200WL, G-OOBA on this weeks based flights to Sharm el Sheikh on Thursday and to Tenerife on Friday.

I'm only mentioning this as its worth pointing out that she is in the new Thomson Airways dreamliner livery...

For the first time ever I think we had 2x Jet2 Boeing 737-800's at at Leeds at the same time as they did a tail swap this afternoon

Boeing 737-800, G-GDFJ positioned into Leeds from Manchester as EXS032E this afternoon while Boeing 737-800, G-GDFF which has been here for the past week departed the Multiflight apron and positioned back to Manchester as EXS033E about an hour later.

Meanwhile Boeing 737-300QC, G-CELP has also just positioned into Leeds from Edinburgh as EXS031E.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham Hotspur charter aircraft to fly up to Leeds/Bradford from Luton or Stansted for there FA Cup 4th round game against Leeds Utd at Elland Road on Sunday, January 27th. Saying that they have the option of travelling up on the British Airways shuttle service from Heathrow now-a days.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
