LBA would normally update the arrival information not Jet2. It will more than likely be a glitch than because of overworked staff.

9 hour delay on this mornings Jet2 to Larnaca 0945 left at 1848 according to LBA website why was this so late cant be ATC all of it

A military helicopter has just flown VERY LOW over Leeds. I assume it had just transported an injured person, maybe a soldier, to the LGI.

It was an RAF Merlin, Rapier 3 doing a practice approach to the LGI. No injured soldiers to worry about:)

Anybody know what flew over Leeds around 11.15? Sounded like it was heading to the airport, was very loud, but didn't sound like one of the normal aircraft, and it wasn't that military helicopter that's been flying around for the last few days. There was nothing on FR24, and according to the LBA website nothing has landed. Damn clouds!

I heard it in horsforth but couldn't see it. Suspect it was a military jet doing a low approach and go around

Sunwing (Thomson) have swapped the based Boeing 737-800 aircraft again on today's Palma service. The yellow C-FYUH left this morning on the TOM3250 service while C-FTLK in ex Hapag Loydd colours is now working the inbound TOM3251 service this evening.

LBA has been more like it’s previous id RAF Yeadon today with the following aircraft all visiting...

10:53 = ZK454, Beech 200 “Cranwell 84” (Approach and go)
11:20 = G-CGKW, Tutor “Cranwell 91” (Landed and parked Multiflight)
11:37 = ZF140, Tucano “Cordite 1” (Landed and parked Multiflight)
11:35 = ZF172, Tucano “Cordite 2” (Landed and parked Multiflight)
11:42 = G-CGKB, Tutor “Cranwell 92” (Landed and parked Multiflight)
12:33 = G-CGKP, Tutor “Cranwell 90”
13:45 = ZF374, Tucano “LOP20”

There wasn't a lot else happening when they visited so they kept ATC busy for a few minutes. ;)

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
