What is he doing...? Just watching on FR

The I-RVR's on the 14 end increased up to 400m so the Gulfstream 4SP, N515JA accepted an approach onto runway 14 got in and landed on the first attempt after holding for 10 mins. The inbound Jet2 Boeing 737-300, G-CELF operating EXS206 from Amsterdam is just holding while the ILS is switched back around as he wants a CATIII onto runway 32 where the l-RVR's are currently as follows: Touchdown 350m, Midpoint 350m and Stop end 400m.

On FR he disappeared close to Barnoldswick. I'm so please you have reported he has landed safely!

Shows that you shouldn't place too much trust in FR24
I once watched the flight track for a PIA flight inbound to LBA. FR24 showed it landing somewhere near Bradford city centre.

earlier this week Jet 2 B737 G-CELS made two approaches and go arounds which I watched on FR24 I suppose he had no Cat 3 capabilty but the bit that bothered me was both approaches looked left of track on FR24 pointing straight at my house and at around 400 ft went around almost on my roof top.

Good job that real radar is accurate then isn't it! ;)

According to FR, my daughter's Jet2 757 landed in the sea 2 miles off shore from TFS last year and on the way down it disappeared off the radar altogether for around 400 miles mid Atlantic. Fortunately an Aer Lingus A320 in front of it had disappeared in exactly the same position and re-appeared to the North of the Canaries, so I knew what to expect, but to the un-initiated it can be a touch worrying!

You did leedslad, but it was actually a Flybe ATR72 in SAS livery doing training flights. It was here on several occasions actually. I think they have a contract to operate in Sweden and the aircraft have gone over there now

19.55-
Citation XL 9H-VMK(Luxwings 294) just departed.
Challenger 601 2-SEXY on 4 mile finals for 32.

Noticed tonights Southampton flight was operated by a Jetstream ! Is the Saab broken or not enough passengers to fill the Saab.

EXS88 from Newark is going round in circles at the LBA does anyone know why ?

I know there was a rain storm has just passed over the airfield which might have reduced Visibility for a short while, seems to have cleared now as Jet2 Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAK operating EXS088 from Newark looks to been vectored around for an approach on to runway 32.

Strange that A300boy, as Eastern Airways BAe Jetstream 41, G-MAJK did this morning's Aberdeen rotation whilst Saab 2000, G-CFLU did the Southampton rotation as planned. Saying that BAe Jetstream 41, G-MAJT has just positioned out empty as EZE22P and looks to be heading for Humberside

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
