Article in the Bristol Post today saying that direct flights from Bristol to Tirana are available. Quoted as weekly on a Wednesday with prices just over £80. Have I missed something or is this another case of mistaken reporting
As it’s the BristolPost (or any Reach plc publication for that matter), then it’s highly like to be mistaken reporting…

Yes, I agree with Cork.
In the upcoming Aer Lingus schedule, there are currently gaps where the aircraft arriving in mid-afternoon into BRS from DUB doesn't then leave BRS for 4 hours (suggesting this aircraft can operate BRS - ORK - BRS during this time)

Bristol looks on track for a great year passenger wise. Just come through the airport last night and thought it really does need some attention fast. It’s feels small, overcrowded and not really comfortable at all when you think of other airports that have similar passenger numbers. Leaving last week for a 19.00 flight was not fun. Queues everywhere, no seating and you have no facilities around the gate areas. I would suggest a lot of millions needs to be spent and a full rethink of the walkways, boarding areas etc.. go look at the Spanish airports who seem to do this well in my opinion…
I was also reading that the airport were pleased to see some more larger state or alliance airlines at Bristol because of hub connectivity.. again I was thinking if I was the boss what would I want next.. for me, Turkish to Istanbul would be number one, tempt Qatar back and across the Severn (hopefully) and jet blue to NY? They have the aircraft to suit… passengers are on the move..!
I hope when all the planning business is sorted the diggers, dollars and destination planners all get moving at pace!

There’s a few UK airports that they’ve shown interest in but that doesn’t mean exactly that they will launch these routes. Only time will tell. One can hope they do.

With Tui dropping long haul from summer 24 , is that it for long haul ambitions ?

We need to hear more about their LH ambitions or not given their recent win on expansion.
They have always stated it and we hear snippets from time to time. Nevertheless, TUI dropping is a blow.

British airways are planned to make an appearance every Saturday next summer flying from and to Innsbruck on behalf of Inghams. Replaces the jet 2 service by the looks

I expect that will be CityFlyer then?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
