PIA has chartered Norse Atlantic for their routes to the UK, thus using the PIA slots. This is not a Norse originated route and has a ending term of 2027

Tuesday

ISB to BHX:
Flight No: NJU705
Call Sign: Norse UK 705

BHX to ISB:
Flight No: NJU706
Call Sign: Norse UK

Baggage Allowance:
W Class: 60kg
Y Class: 50kg
Infants: Free of charge with 10kg baggage
Human Remains: Free of charge

Ok. Then it is strange they are using UK/NJU flight numbers and that the schedule looks just like the original HBIA plan:

Surprised it’s 1 weekly if it is.

So it’s 3,724 passengers per every Tuesday

Pretty poor but at least it’s a start of things to come

wow 3,724 passengers on a 336 seater dreamliner, impressive! - I don't think its pretty poor at all, at least they are planning to start flights, if they are only using 1 dreamliner then we can't expect much more, plenty of other UK airports would love a weekly flight to Islamabad!

guess we won't be seeing PIA anytime soon!!

big question mark now if we will now see Norse operating to Islamabad once a week from late October?

I`m sure just read earlier this week it will be Norse initially on Manchester, sorry cannot remember source but will have scan as to where I read it, but at a guess I would BHX will be the same

I think ur referring to HB international airlines.Norse are supposedly operating flights for them.Don’t know if that is still the case

I am told that it is the same thing as they are operating on PIA flight numbers and times

If that is the case, why have they waited until the ban was lifted? UK registered aircraft have not been affected by the prohibition. Indeed, PIA briefly operated to UK with leased aircraft after the ban was introduced.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
