Carpatair operate a charter to Berlin tomorrow using a FK100 aircraft. It positions in at 15:30 then returns to MAN on the 16th at 17:00.
Infomation from Manchester mailing list thank you.

I can understand Iberia sending planes in, seeing as they're changing their livery (not that it's an improvement though), but why are TAP sending this plane in? As far as I know TAP aren't changing their livery, so are they selling this plane?

Aircraft are required to be repainted every few years (forget the exact timeframe). Maybe Air Livery have won the contract for that work?

Lufthansa will operate the new A320neo D-AINA on the LH948/949 rotation on 28th Jan.

This will be the first visit of the first commercial A320neo. Will be commonplace soon no doubt, but always nice to record a first visit of a new type.

A6-EYE is operating the Etihad morning flight, this plane is in the Manchester City colours.

Flybe BE326 BHX - ABZ - G-JECR is diverting into MAN having declared an emergency.

This morning Etihad used A330 A6-EYD, in their new livery.

Ryanair are using EI-DCL in the Dreamliner colours on their flight from Riga, just landed.

Technical problem apparently.

EI-DCL appears to be MAN-based at the moment. There should be more photo-opportunities for those who require it. We just need some weather improvement!

Few movements due over the next few days.

Firstly, Austrian will have 2 flights tomorrow. The usual A321 flight, and then an A319 running INN-STN-MAN-INN due to demand from MAN. Will run next week also. Thanks to MS2 for that one.

Lufthansa A330-300 due 10am Sunday 7th for Air Livery. Iberia A340-600 due out 1345.

Saudi sending a B787 on test on 16th, staying overnight and running empty on both legs. Thanks to Steve platt for that info.

Also seen a Qatar B747F due tomorrow at 1125, but unconfirmed at the moment.

Qatar Cargo B777F A7-BFB due 2100 from AMS out to DOH at 2230 as QR8203.

The Saudi B789 is due on the 15th.
Arr 21:20 as SV9071. Night stops and Dep 14:00. And is going to be operated by HZ-ARA.
Info from MS2 thank you.

A great photo by Jose Gonzalez of an Iberia A340-600 and a Lufthansa A330-300 behind.

Not bad for a UK airport!

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
