He said it was mentioned on their webpage but at the moment I can't look to verify.

I can't find it in their destinations, news page or route map, we'll have to wait and see if it's true.
It appears that the poster may be referring to another poster speculation on the Eastern Airways thread on that forum.

A good starting point would be one aircraft doing DUB twice daily in the morning and evening with BHD and EDI once a day in middle of the day. Judging by Jerrys post on the potential routes thread, there could definitely be scope for more, but one aircraft would be a good starting point and yields should be good. An ATR would be more economical than E190 but E190 would provide the needed capacity. Provided the timings are good, BHD and EDI could cope as once daily.

In a post on the other forum it was mentioned that they had 4 ATR 72s on order 1 of 3 E190s was being painted at EMA and another E170 was still to come out of storage. The E145s were up for sale.
The ATRs would obviously be ideal for domestic but I suspect that if WG/CWL were going to do a deal that they'd want to bring certain European routes back and the E190 would be more suitable for that. Obviously it's all speculation but I do feel that Eastern are probably the most likeliest to takeover the ex Flybe routes from Cardiff. Even a J41 would be better than nothing!

Eastern Airways have put Anglesey onsale for Summer 2021. Same times from Cardiff as before 0735 and 1610 (15.10 on Fridays). Doesn't look like Teesside/Aberdeen is coming back.
The route is due to restart again on 19th October. Finger's crossed for that!

strange how Welsh Labour says we are in a climate emergency and still runs this flight.

Well if rail and road links were much better and quicker between the north and south of Wales the flight wouldn't exist. The fact that its still going is an example of the lack of investment in internal north south links over the years.

Anglesey now delayed until 04/01
That means the route will have not operated since March and of course brings up the question about the PSO subsidy in whether they've already been paid for the year or whether it's paid in quarters. If the latter then that's not too bad as they'll only get it for the quarter they operated in.
Going to be a quiet winter at CWL.

According to Eastern Airways on twitter Anglesey was put back at the request of WG.

Jerry, I read your post on the Eastern Airways thread, re them pulling off the Southampton-NCL route, I also read somewhere that Eastern were pulling off EMA to Glasgow and Edinburgh routes, they were in competition with Loganair on several routes which are not sustainable for two different airlines. Why on earth they don't come to CWL, I don't know, they will have no competition. There may be some glimmer of hope, after reading your twitter reply from them, re the possibility of more routes when the Valley route starts back, let's hope for the best.

I think it depends on aircraft availability especially type.
If they are going to base in the future I'd expect the airport to want something bigger than a J41 especially for the likes of Edinburgh and Dublin. ATR72 or E190 I'd have thought would be more suitable maybe a mix of ATR for domestic with an E190 for European routes. I also think that at the moment there just isn't the demand and maybe waiting to launch something for summer 2021 may be a wiser move. Though it would be nice if they announced any routes for Summer 2021 just to bring back some sort of positivity for the airport as it does feel that the airport is being left behind on the route recovery front!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
