I see Which? have assessed Sentinel as the best off-site parking in the whole country in this months magazine. 'Streets ahead of its rivals' was one comment in a review laced with superlatives.

Suppose it depends on what car park you use. I tend to use Short Stay or Meet And Greet, so not really sure how driving up close the terminal and self parking, is inferior to getting a bus that runs and then collecting your car.. id say it was a lot better/quicker

I must admit I was comparing the long term parking, and which is far more expensive than Sentinel (in my experience) and (depending where you park) further from the Terminal.
If you use short stay/Meet & Greet, I would imagine that it would be a lot more expensive.

I have just checked for my trip next month (1 week), the Airport "Meet & Greet" is twice the price of Sentinel.

I'm sure it is but the price is not what I go off. I prefer a superior and quick service at meet and greet. all personal preference.

Funny that as there was an article yesterday saying that Bristol charges the highest fees outside of London.

Im hoping the airport are asked to comment and strike home the fact there is a free drop off area. Would be good to see a report comparing the convenience of drop off areas at different airports, I think Leeds would come out of that very well.

It always amazes me that people will willingly pay thousands of pounds on a holiday and then complain about £7 to drop off at the terminal front when there is a free drop off not much further away.

Not everyone can manage the “short walk” from the free drop-off point. That includes my daughter.
