In addition to todays lunchtime Silkway 744 from Baku their is also a One Air 77L this evening from the same destination.

In addition to the above mentioned Icelandair 767 f/t Keflavick their is a Sky Vision A321 from Cairo to Larnica and Cargojet 767V from Chicago to Hamilton in today along with the regular Maersk 777 and Lufthansa A321F plus the usual smaller stuff-busy day on the freight side.

What reg is the cargojet 767?
I can’t see it on the FR24 boards.

An Icelandair Cargo 767 is due around 13.20. (TF-ISP)
Hi, I don't usually put the reg. on as my spotting days are long gone.
Piano Keys has answered your question and for info the Sky Vision A321 is
SU-SKG. I'll try putting them on in future if I remember 😔

Info is taken from Ian's BHX movementsblog.

Just so that i understand, When the Silkway B744F departed this morning, i presume it was with a different flight crew.

So how do they work this? Did the fresh crew fly in with the B744F this morning as 'passengers' or do Silkway now, because of their extensive operations at BHX, have flight crews based in Birmingham?

I would only be guessing. Best guess your theory that the return crew fly in as passengers. The Silkway flights have calmed down a little since the pre Christmas rush of Chinese goodies, thereby meaning around 3 flights a week, currently.

I dont have any specialist knowledge other than youtube, but I understand that cargo can be a whole lot more flexible on crewing.

For example, it may be easier for them to simply put 4 pilots on the aircraft, 2 of whom would depart Baku (say) and then swap out with the other 2 somewhere enroute, who then land and takeoff before handing back to the original crew. I'd suggest that is even more likely where the destination is somewhere that they dont go to all the time, avoiding the need to have crews dotted all over the place.

Pax services are a whole different kettle of fish primarily because more often than not they are regularly scheduled rather than ad-hoc charters.

B747-409F Network aviation TF-AKE due in from liege at 5.49am
And just on its way to rwy 33 for its departure to N’Djamena again. Same aircraft from Liege again. Could it be dropping off cargo as Silkway does from Baku. If it was empty and departs empty why come here at all first. Nice to see though !

Very quiet of late in terms of cargo heavies ( exception Maersk ) do we know if this is due Easter holidays or a revised summer schedule with less flights? Assuming war would have little affect either way so far but maybe im wrong ......

I've not noticed any major downturn in Cargo. It's always a touch quieter after the pre Christmas rush.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
