I shoot in RAW also but as i now have the very new FZ300 bridge camera its only compatable with the later versions of Lightroom or Photoshop and i have LR5 that i paid for a key for some time ago.
I changed over to a bridge cam to get the lens range as i now have a 28-600mm lens and its a Leica one to boot so the IQ is quite good, here is a shot from it.

Some from this afternoon. I'd estimate around 40-50 cars on top of the car park with about 80% of them leaving after Emirates departed.

Changing the subject somewhat, I'm surprised, but delighted that my photos are still showing here.
Let me elaborate. A while back, I received a letter from Virgin Media, stating that my 'webspace' was to be terminated as of 28 April 2016 (I hadn't done anything wrong, honest! - Virgin are closing their webspace allowance).
I have used this webspace, to both host photos and hotlink them to forums such as the excellent Forums4Airports.

I am therefore on the lookout for a new host for my photos.
I would like certain criteria - free, able to create folders and the ability to hotlink individual photographs.

Having viewed many photos here, I very much like the Flickr set up. I don't have any accounts with Facebook, Twitter or similar - would this cause a problem? I do however have a Yahoo email address.

Any advice on the above, or alternative hosts would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Kevin

I don't think Facebook or Twitter is an issue.

I quite like Flickr. It's easy to sort your pictures into albums to keep things tidy and sharing them on other people's groups is a great way of getting them seen. It's also fairly easy to link to. You can also put a link on here directly to one of your albums, in a similar way that Simon does.

Apologies, Ladies and Gentlemen. This is just a test, as I've recently set up a Flickr account -

Hmmm, links OK but doesn't expand to the expected 1280 x 857 pixels. Also, I'm having trouble setting up individual albums/folders on my Flickr account. I'm very new to Flickr and any advice would be much appreciated.

[Edit] OK, I think I've sorted the creating of albums/folders, but I'm still puzzled over the size of my photos. They're 1280 x 857 on my PC, but only 1024 x 686 on Flickr and also, the photo linked here.

Regards.

No apologies needed Kevin - a great shot; thanks. One of the things I like about A380 photos is when they incorporate the effect she has on others, so the crowd size and their interest in her always add to these shots for me.

I agree it's a great picture, thanks for sharing it (y)

Not sure about the sizing, there is a Flickr forum where it's possible to get some advice, it may be worth asking on there.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
