Will be interesting to see what happens in this area in the future. Depending on how 'important' the buildings are, extending the apron down toward the tower could provide a decent sized area for either remote stands or a LCC terminal.

I was hoping to get to Sheldon Country Park but got held up on the way home so could only manage a distance shot with quite a zoom.

787 is a beauty of an aircraft, now my fave civil aircraft

Sorry 757, you have served us well but time for the 787 to take over.

A350 does nothing for me im afraid, i have tried to like this aircraft but i cant. It is such a funny aircraft, i cant put my finger on it. Even the nose looks out of place for some reason.

Its one of those things, you know if you like it or you dont like it.

Great snap...dichotomy between an airline from such a sunny hot country arked on such a rainy apron. Saod it before but the expansion on MAEL cannot be far off. What a huge success.

There have been several rumours of a third bay being built, I think one of the MAEL bosses said expansion was on the cards in an interview last year.

I guess it may depend on whether the Boeing Goldcare facility at Gatwick will have an impact and if so, how big an impact?
