I actually might have been there that day!

I was and i remember it was a hot day too.

I also used to live in Kitts Green and remember planes still taking off at 1am and 2 am in the morning becouse there were sooooo many planes on the tarmac, a really great day for plane enthusiasts. One of the best i can remember.

Had a good catch today, saw a Turkish Airlines TC-JVG abort landing and swerve because a Thomson 757 G-OOBG was still on the runway rotating. I'll post the link to the video later I caught it on camera with my phone! :reallyshocked:

I saw a similar event at LBA a few weeks ago. I'm sure there were no safety concerns but it makes good viewing compared to the usual day to day movements.

I fly back on the 23rd, this Thursday. I am scheduled to land at 16:15. Thomson have told me its schdueled to be operated by G-BYAT, could someone photograph it land? Would be greatly appreciated. My flight is TOM757.

Had a fab time! Definitely recommend Gumbet, as well as travelling with Thomson
