Those look like they were taken from the old viewing gallery. What's it being used for now?

That room is now used as an educational resource where visiting schools, youth groups etc base themselves for the day. It's pretty good really as it's totally free as is any coach parking.

Not sure, it says for schools or groups such as cubs, girls guides etc.

The main event.

On approach. Lots of people in the country park.

Touch down

The fire crews tried but they had no chance with the high winds.

Departure. There were lots of gasps when he was told to line up from intersection 'Bravo'. We all assumed it would be full length.

Perhaps the A380 lined up from Bravo so people wouldn't get hit by the jet blast which I imagine would be even bigger than the jet blast from the 777 in this video by flugsnug.

You may well be right.

A few people gasped when it was mentioned but I guess modern engines are very efficient and it lifted no problem.
