Bit of a persecution complex here.

They've managed to successfully depart flights to Heathrow, Stanstead, Gatwick, Glasgow and Manchester today but little old Birmingham has to sit there in its own puddle.

Maybe the stand our aircraft was parked on was flooded while others were still usable

Today's Emirates Sky Cargo B77X seems to have disappeared of the arrivals for today.
Possibly down to the adverse conditions in the Middle East.

A6-EFJ 777-F operating as EK9923 is just on finals for runway 33 now from Frankfurt, though as you say EKs entire operation is running in some places days behind at the moment so sudden/strange changes aren't uncommon.

Last night's 777 pax flight didn't land until 03:08 this morning and only departed just under an hour ago at 12:02 and we didn't see the lunch time A380 at all yesterday

I think it'll be a while until they're completely back to normal as these sorts of delays seem to be across their entire network, I don't know where you just recover an entire days worth of scheduling from :)

Things are getting better, MAN this morning the fist flight was several hours late the second a couple with the 3rd cancelled due lack of aircraft but I think near back to normal tomorrow as it hasn`t rained for a couple of days and Heathrow has had several cancelled but I believe they are running out of food DXB with I believe over 100 flights cancelled

Looks like its going to be a while till the EK schedule gets back to normal. Most flights from DXB-BHX sold out for the next week but flights coming in half empty. Seem pax are struggling even to make it through the airport!!!!

I have a friend who has been waiting 3 days in J’burg to get home & EK have now booked them on the direct BA flight
I guess EK are doing all they can, to get rid of what must be a huge backlog. I applaud the airline for doing what they can in what must be a logistical nightmare.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
