Nothing is impossible I know, but in real terms they've had ample years to start a service and haven't. I'd bark up another airlines tree if I were you. You'll be waiting a long old while for Etihad to commence service to BHX

Personally no, although pre Internet and FR24 i was an avid listener to ATC. I must have possessed 6 or 7 airband radio's back in the day.
