Austrian Airlines are to run a 1x Weekly B737-800 from Manchester to Innsbruck on Saturdays only.

Flight times are as follows:

OS9367 INN 0805 MAN 0930
OS9368 MAN 1110 INN 1430

Flights are only on sale via Inghams ski, as flight only or as a ski package.

As far as I remember they used to have a Saturday morning charter for Inghams to Innsbruck, originally by Lauda Air.

Austrian will begin a daily service to Vienna on Sept 1st.

Flight arrives 1050, departs again at 1205 and will start on F100 but move to E195 in October.

Austrian will run a special 1 way MAN-VIE flight on 27th December as OS1474, in additition to the regular MAN flight.

What's interesting is, equipment is listed as B777-200, so, a great chance to ride an Austrian B777 on an intra Europe flight. It's fully bookable on all platforms.

Austrian used an A319 in place of the F100 on yesterday's Vienna run.

As well as the switch to the E195 in April, there also seems to be quite a few A319 and A320 flights planned over the summer too. In to line with that, there is an article online to say Monarch Engineering have won the contract for line maintence on the Austrian A320 and E195 family on their flights to Manchester. I'm unsure if Monarch will also look after the Austrian B777/767 that come into Manchester too?

Austrian must be doing well on the VIE-MAN run, as each time I look at their flights, more and more are being changed from the E195 to the A319.

Wonder how many ad hoc upgrades they will do before a permanent move to the A319?

I thought that the planned aircraft was the Fokker 100. When have they used the E195?

Will Austrian Airlines increase to daily following their 1st anniversary of operations on MAN-VIE - will there be more A319 appearances this winter, similarly to last winter?

Does anybody know the loads on the route - how successful it is?

Could anyone tell me the dates and times for the Innsbruck timings this winter?

and, competition on MAN's Facebook page to win tickets on Austrian to Vienna.

Austrian continuing 1x weekly A319 into S18 - A319 operates on Sundays from April 2018

Looks like Austrian are in the process of switching the OS2577/2578 INN-MAN-INN from pure charters to scheduled services.

The flight has now started appearing in GDS (to which it previously hasn't) and also gains a 2nd weekly flight on Sunday's. It doesn't appear on Austrians website yet.

OS2577 INN 0805 MAN 0925
OS2578 MAN 1110 INN 1430
Saturday's A321

OS2577 INN 0825 MAN 0945
OS2578 MAN 1045 INN 1405
Sunday's A320

The Sat flight is bookable all winter, the Sun flight starts 7th Jan.

VIE remains 5 weekly E190/A319 but the new flights mean Austrian will have 2 flights Sat and Sun from Feb.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
