I hope we get loads of Italian charters again next year. They seem to have gone mad this summer.

Would I be right in thinking that in terms of pure IT charter flights, next year will the worst summer in donkey's years. All the TCX punters will be on Monarch scheduled flights, so apart from Thomos this will presumably just leave the Balkan and Innsbruck flights as regular weekly charters.

Have been told recently that Thomson's are struggling to source an aircraft to operate next summer's LBA based flying programme. Was mentioned that Monarch wont be doing the work as originally as planned with a Boeing 757-200 and that Canadian airline Sunwing might be used instead using a leased Boeing 737-800WL.

The good news is that if they do use Sunwing Airlines Boeing 737-800 it will be CAT3 rated on runway 32 not like Thomson's own Boeing 737-800's which are only CAT2 rated at LBA.

At last, confirmation of what we have been waiting for, definitive flight numbers for summer 2013!

Please note that some times have changed slightly.

Monday
Dalaman = 10:35-20:40 (TOM698/9)

Tuesday
Palma = 06:35-21:25 (TOM3250/1), W Teeside (TOM3218/9)

Wednesdays
Mahon = 07:45-13:50 (TOM3324/5)
Cyprus-Paphos = 15:20-02:15* (TOM3368/9)

Thursdays
May 2nd until May 16th
Sharm el Sheikh = 10:00-22:15 (TOM442/3)
May 23rd until September 26th
Ibiza = 06:00-12:20 (TOM3432/3)
Sharm el Sheikh = 13:50-02:05* (TOM442/3)
October 3rd until October 31st
Sharm el Sheikh = 10:00-22:15 (TOM442/3)

Friday
Corfu = 06:35-14:30 (TOM3550/1)
Dalaman = 15:55-01:50* (TOM542/3)

Rhodes = 15:30-01:10* (TOM3646/7)

Heard a rumour at the weekend that the Balkan has been moved from Friday to Saturday next summer. Can anyone elaborate on this?

Interesting. Who charters the Balkan a/c TCX?

Still no Varna flight from Leeds! I remember the Air Via TU-154's screaming out over my grandparents house in the 90's. :LOL:

The weekly Bourgas flight from Leeds is chartered by Balkan Holidays and they use there own in-house airline "Balkan Holidays Air"

I have come across this in UK Airports site - New low cost flights from Leeds/Bradford to Split and Pola and Croatia with Balkan Holiday packages. I have not come across anything for Bourgas yet. The new Brochures are out now.

Tagney Tours now have the Leeds diocese Lourdes Pilgrimage trip on sale for this summer. It looks as though Titan Airways will be flying for them again. Wither it turns up at Leeds/Bradford is anyone's guess! As last years tour was operated in and out of Doncaster-Sheffield for some unknown reason.

Departs = Friday, July 5th
Returns = Thursday, July 11th

Hi lbaspotter

Do you mind if I ask where you get the Italian student flight info from?

Had the link last year but seem to have misplaced it.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
